Liked what I saw at Wembley when we played Dortmund. Direct, pacy, exciting looking player. In truth I have not seen much of him since but on that day he looked the kind of player we need. Our problem is that we have had fast wingers before who failed to produce much in the way of end product so I am not holding out great expectations for anyone we buy to fit that role. However Pulisic at such a young age looks a real prospect

Martial definitely not going to happen (Chelsea most likely if he does leave)
Zaha definitely too expensive (opinions very much divided on here)

IMO I think Pulisic might be the most obtainable high quality signing we can realistically sign for our WF.

if we offered them the same amounts that are referenced for Martial or Zaha, you'd have to believe that Pulisic is attainable (55m-70m)

Rumours of Barca interest.

Edit: apologies it’s Real Madrid

I keep thinking this is the perfect time to buy Pulisic. We clearly want to build up our presence in America with the NFL tie up and potentially the stadium name. This would be a hell of time to make a splash in the American market with both Spurs and BVB in America.

Would so much rather get him then Zaha. But it seems Zaha is our joint primary target so I doubt we are even thinking about him as long as there is a slight chance of Zaha or Martial.

Hes a better player than zaha already and has great potential. I think the only people who believe otherwise are a few people on SC and Mauricio Pochettino.

Mind you, as an American, i still would rather Pulisic not come to the PL yet. However, a s a Spurs fan, I think this summer is our only chance to get him and I still predict we will end up getting him Next summer, he’ll be way out of budget with the big boys after him hard if we dont sign him this year though.

If the price is £70m he is already out of our budget unless we shift some.

Only take issue with 'better than Zaha already'. As a footballer yes but probably not as a player in ther PL, yet.

Right with ya on the 'Murican vs Spurs supporter issue. He has the chance to be the man at BVB this season whereas he would be a cog here.

I'd see Pulisic playing more at 10 than wide, in which case we're already allegedly buying Grealish. As ITK have pointed out, we're struggling for squad spaces for non home grown players and Pulisic (or Martial) wouldn't help that situation whereas Zaha would.

You need somebody to buy the player to get them off the wage bill or you have them unable to play and on huge wages. I'm sure if anybody wanted Sissoko we'd be all over it. We binned N'Jie ages ago.

Not surprised, not super disappointed. We already have the players in that spot. Would have been a big one for the future but with the current team it just didn't make much sense ever since we bought Lucas.

teams will take them as long as we are willing to cut our losses by taking a low transfer fee. the key is that if you have a chance to sign a player like pulisic you HAVE to sign them before the train leaves.
