It's the signing that makes most sense for us other than a top CM. He can play LB, LWB, LAM, he is the the biggest player in the US market and will help grow our appeal, he is only 19, his wages are doable for us, and he is an outstanding player.

So with Bild apparently saying he’s called off contract talks w Dortmund, listing Chelsea and Liverpool as potential destinations and staying Dortmund want Zaha to replace him if he leaves...
It’s interesting that we aren’t listed in that group, given we probably need him more than Liverpool do.
Also interesting that Dortmund want Zaha, just can’t see them forming over fee and wages it would take.

You can remove GKN and Sissoko from that list.
GKN and Sissoko is....well, yikes. We really have 5 for 3 spots. Another could be sufficient. Especially when we seemingly are blowing off CM for an AM(possibly 2) which signals Poch is preparing to use Eriksen and Dele in deeper roles.
I dont agree with it but that is what it looks like. For the record, I’d rather forego an AM and sign 2 CM’s. I dont really want Martial, Zaha or Pulisic. We cant rely on Dier, and half crocked Dembele, Winks and Wanyama at CM. I’d rather spend the money we have on a quality CM or 2.
