I'll always remember him bossing Euro 2004. Thought at that point we were going to have the next pele playing for England! Oh well.

My fondest Rooney memory is of his Wembley debut against Turkey. He was absolutely unbelievable that night, looked every inch the new Gazza. He has the trophies, and he has the stats, but everyone who saw him from age 16-21 knows he should have become a much greater player than he is today.

Looked sharp at the begining but struggling to get in the game. Number 10 can be a tough postion to play against a team like this. Wouldn't be suprised to see him smash one in if he got the chance.
