After watching my first CL game since that Final last season.
let me get this straight, we want to finish 4th so we can play amongst this pile of dogshite?
It was boring, extremely soul destroying, so much so that I ended up watching other stuff on TV.
Ok, Finishing 4th or higher means more cash better players and MY own personal wish for more TITLES (FA Cups, League Cups, European trophies and ULTIMATELY The League) - but this, along with the great majority of CL games - shit.

U have to give Fergie a hell of alot of credit, I fucking hate doing that... I hate Fergie! U look at the players on each team, u have Rooney and Van Rapist vs wot could be seen as 6 or 7 world class players and they get a result which could have been more. He is the BEST modern day manager and IMO the best club manager of all time. His ability to get and extra 50% out of players like Evra, Evans, Carrick andore recently Wellbeck is outstanding the man diserves all that he gets, other teams hatred of him is nothing bout a round of applause. Every descision, every comment, every gesture IMO is predtermed and aimed at getting a reaction from fans, players and pundits so for this one post i applaud Fergie, he is football and if more managers were like him football would be a better sport. Fergie I salute u........ now I hate u again!!

Modric has been fantastic since he's been on.
He is quite simply wasred there, I dont care if hes getting more money or a chance to win things, he will never have the Legendry status or love her could oh had if he had of stayed with us. If we had Modric, Sandro and Dembelle in midfield I think we would be top 2!! Little rat faced bastard!

I thought Wellbeck was outstanding - not the goal, but the work rate, the tireless running of the channels and got into some fabulous positions.
Kagawa was very poor, I remember thinking about ten minutes befoe Fergie made the sub that I would replace him with Giggs as they were desperate for some more composure on the ball other than Carrick. Rooney was giving the ball away for fun although he was quite good defensively.

Totally agree, he was manhandled the whole game but he didnt lose the head. U think if he came to us or another team he would be as good? Unfortuneatley I dont hink so. Rooney was trying to hard he was beat runnimg round everywhere, Van Persie was disappointing, looked a little lazy to me.

A random one but it really annoys me how everyone on SSN refers to Madrids stadium as the "Bern-a-beyoo". In sure that's how it's meant to be pronounced in Spain but it sounds stupid when they say it! What's wrong with "bern-a-bough" as a pronunciation?
