Eriksen is NOT a LWF and never will be. It took a few fans - and Harry as well - almost a season before they understood that Modric is a CMF and not a winger cum WMF
Eriksen showed again and again that he is not effective as LWF and often left big wholes defensively on the left side because his insistence on drifting inside all the time - which in itself is a proof that he is not comfty in that position.

Almost all of CE's best games for Spurs have been off the left, as have the majority of his goals. I have never understood the clamour for him to play off Kane as he is frequently lost in that role, struggling to get on the ball and find space. The game often passes him by in there, and he can leave Kane isolated as he isn't a natural forward, he is a midfielder. Berahino off Kane with Eriksen left would to me give us a much better balance, and greatly increased goal threat.

And yes of course Eriksen drifts inside off the left but the entire point of the two deeper lying midfielders is that they cover the full backs. In any case, Chadli is awful at tracking back, much lazier than Eriksen who covered more ground last season for us than any other player, so we wouldn't exactly be losing anything.

Harry started to play Modric central after he "discovered" how good Bale was on the left (who, in turn, got extended play time due to an Ekotto injury).
