I'm probably one of the most pessimistic members on here when it comes to transfers, (I'm pretty positive about the club as a whole but transfers get to me!) I can't help believing we won't sign player X but will sell player Y, however even I'm confident we'll pull this off. I know we suffered sorely from the Willian thing, but he was a very good player at the time and was an attractive player. I just don't see the same fuss coming from other clubs for N'Jie and everything suggests it's all but done. I won't be suggesting he's our player until it's confirmed of course, but I'm pretty confident we'll pull it off and I'm not even convinced another club would do this for N'Jie

It's nothing to get bent out of shape about though - there's no guarantee he will be a success in our league. I for one hadn't even heard of him and hadn't seen him play before, so I'm not gonna worry one way or another

For those who have seen him play and are bugging out because they're certain he's a superstar in the making - remember many who had seen Capoue play in France were waxing lyrical about him and he was a pretty major flop

Hopefully he will still sign - hopefully he will go on to be a big success for us. If not though we will just move on to the next target and hopefully they will be a success

One odd thing is that Poch is normally very coy in press conferences, especially about transfers.

Normally he is denying all knowledge until after a player has completed 90 minutes of football for us and even then he says it might happen.
