Njie a passé l'intégralité de sa visite médicale avec Tottenham, mais le transfert est bloqué car Arsenal a mis son nez dans le dossier.

Njie has spent (passed) the entirety of his medical with Tottenham, but the transfer is blocked because Arsenal put his nose in the folder (are interested).

I just can't understand why Arsenal would be interested, and it would go everything against Wenger has said. I reckon Aulas is using previous Arsenal interest to try and squeeze more money out of Levy, or just to piss him off.

Pas d'offre pour le moment, mais les gunners vont peut-être surenchérir (L'Equipe)

No offer for the moment, but the gunners are perhaps going to outbid

Same, it would be strange, especially with Welbeck still to come back for them too.

From Raymond Jaquet dude @Nick90Rollinson For now, yes. But I still think Njie will join Tottenham. Arsenal doesn't really need that kind of player.

Njie's transfer to Spurs is blocked because of interest from Arsenal. No offer yet, but they could outbid THFC. (L'Équipe).

Just can't see it TBH.
So L'Equipe have gone from saying N'Jie is a Tottenham player to this...

Are they really that reliable? Because they haven't reported an accurate transfer in a while - I may be wrong but it feels that way

Arsenal's interest would be strangest of 'em all. Walcott, Chamberlain, Sanchez, Walbeck............ all similar wing players. It's not like there is a room for him.......

They put his nose in the folder? What was in this folder? Wilshere's lunch I reckon.

So, let me get this right, they're saying the transfer is blocked because Arsenal might make a bid, they haven't yet but they might... WTF?! That's the flimsiest reason for blocking a transfer I've ever heard, 'we'd sell you this guy for a fee we've already agreed but some other club might make an offer soon, they've not contacted us but they might, so y'know we're going to wait.'

Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain can't get a regular spot in Arsenal's midfield. They need N'jie like Cecil the Lion needs a dentist.

Fuck's sake :banghead:.

@Raymond_Jacquet Have Lyon stopped it for now? What do you think will happen?

He's not a journo of any sort, but he's right. It would be absolutely nonsensical for Arsenal to bid for him. The only reason they would do that would be to piss us off.
Perhaps Wenger is doing a fellow countryman a favour so that Aulas can screw us down for more money. ;)

But since when has that old git Wenger appreciated what they need? Two decent signings and they would of won the league at least five times during his tenure.

Well, maybe it's not Lyon blocking it, but N'Jie would like to see if they bid.

He's some guy, why are we taking his opinion as fact? Looks like he's made conclusions on the idea that another club is interested, there's absolutely no evidence that Lyon have stopped the transfer in it's tracks, just that another club are sniffing around.

Lyon Chairman obvs playing silly buggers me thinks.

Even if Arsenal wanted him they wouldn't outbid, as he'd more likely choose them over us I'd imagine. All reeks of Aulas attempt at brinkmanship

@Nick90Rollinson Maybe (probably) OL use this very little interest from Arsenal to get more money from THFC.

He just repiled back to me with this
