The players treated this game as though it was a routine training session from the off. They didn’t show respect to the opponents or to the fans.

It just feels like both the club and Poch are waiting for Real so they can get the compensation/avoid the ignominy of sacking/resignation.

What happened to the dinner and the reset.

What happened then. Did I miss something?
We absolutely smashed them, as you'd expect from a top 6 team vs one from the middle of League 2. Tune in for the draw for the next round after tonight's matches.

Oh the dinner, yes the very good dinner.
"Sir, would you care to depart the club?"
"Si, hombre, vados very soon, amigo."
"Excellent. Now that's settled, what would you like to order."

In a way it was. We played a lot of players who have just come back from injury, some of them long term layoffs, and clearly are not match fit. Plus we played a few youngsters which was a learning opportunity for them. Quite frankly we might as well go out of this now than lose in pens at the semi-final stage. What is a shame is that we now don't have this competition to continue to give more players some game time.

Not the first time a big team has been dumped out of a cup comp early on and it won't be the last

They clearly don't respect the fans, other wise they would have turned up and won like they were supposed to. Instead they humiliated the club and the fans. Its not like they have to go to work in the pissing rain and deal with Arse, Chelsea and Spam fans at work is it!

I saw from the 2nd half but from what I saw
We've missed his leadership.

Thought he was the only one that had a decent game tonight.

I saw from the 2nd half and thought KWP was decent and was making runs (sometimes missed) trying to drive us on.

How many of those do we need? I feel like our alarm might be broken after all.

Poch is a nearly man unfortunately. He can't even give the excuse that he's sacked it off to concentrate on the league. That's clearly gone, it would be beyond miraculous if we did anything serious in the CL which leaves the FA Cup as the only viable option.

He emphasised in the summer that we need to win things now. Therefore, anything else is a failure. He's already fucked away 2 of 4 chances. The likelihood for 'success' this season is minimal right now.
The key is whether Poch understands what the underlying problem is and understands how to tackle it. His interviews give little away so it's difficult to know whether he is at a loss to know why the players are not buying into what he's doing or whether he's calm and there is a bigger picture that we are not privy to.

THe only thing we should pull the trigger on is exiling Eriksen to the reserves. As far away from the 1st team as possible.

For months he has been off form and it would be correct to question his commitment. Last night in his short appearance however I couldn't. He wasn't brilliant but he was getting at the ref about decisions. He did miss the penalty (is that 3 on the trot?) but no penalty takers score them all and his confidence is probably shattered with the previous penalties and all the stick he is getting. I think he does care and would like to turn it around but he is in a rot. Whether he should play or take penalties is a valid discussion but I don't think we should rule out that he does care.

He can get as much financial backing as much as he wants, but if he does not improve on his game management and tactics it will be money wasted. We have enough quality and talent in our current squad including those he bought over the summer to win major trophies. Throwing money at his ineptness is not the answer.
You talk as if he has no in game tactics as if you haven't been impressed with our style of football in game before. Just a few games ago we blew Palace away Dortmund last season and many others games we've been a joy to watch do you want Mourinhno?
The players have become comfortable they've seen the transformation and become part of the furniture they are taking the piss, there's no way on earth Poch had instructed the players to play for a draw against Colchester. He needs to shift players out of the club (Levy has to bite the bullet and listen) who have become stagnated....example Toby Vertonghen Eriksen Rose Wanyama and others are going through the motions.
