4-1 and we're barely awake. Do people really want us to drive ourselves into the floor to get a better result?
Absolutely right.
It's pretty much and was always going to be a training game that we would win as we warm up to another heavy period of serious games.
Once again MoPo managing and using the squad well today.

Carroll caps a thoroughly decent and tidy performance with a goal.

He's no Bale but don't understand the stick he gets from some. Does a job and does it well.

I don't get the stick he gets either, but thats always been the case with our fans, always someone that is in the firing line.

Saying that, i do think he has had a poor game today, same with bentaleb...well most of the side, the shape of the team as been poor, almost complacent.

But as Indesiguise as said, 4-1 up without running ourselves into the ground. Can't complain, got tougher games to play this season.

Carroll has improved since first half, and I don't particularly rate him so good to see

At least you appreciate he's got better as the game has gone on. He's worth having around the squad. Not as good as the usual first team choices for CM but very capable.

*off soap box*

So much criticism still? There were times over the last few seasons when a scoreline like 4-1 would have been simply amazing and we would have been delirious with joy.

No surprise the goals started flowing since kane's gone off.

I actually am being slightly serious. He needs to stop the greed; it hampers our overall forward play.
