Don't worry, when he does score a goal you can bet your life it'll be the best goal you'll ever see.
IF he scores a goal. Someone above mentioned that he was hyped up in BBC commentary against us. Obviously it caught the attention of some Spurs fans.

It was more the BBC commentator wouldn't stop going on about him, saying how good and well he was playing, so alot of people on here were taking the piss saying he's clearly the best player ever, like I did saying his goal will be the best you'll ever see.

Sure you can feel free to chat an endless stream of shit, that we are all then subject to reading.

Then you must be responsible for your actions and deal with the repercussions. It's a two-way street - Cause and effect.

If you want that kind of vent then take a piece of paper and write your hate and anger there, just because there's emotion doesn't mean you have the right to subjugate us to it and we just have to deal with reading absolute shit, I for one am not here to read worthless drivel.

Actually I didn't make any negative comments during the game, other than one post about how it was depressing when we were losing, which it was. Personally I rarely post during a match these days. If you take out the emotional reactions in a match day thread, what are you left with? Tactical insights from sofa managers? Bleeding obvious statements like 'we need to score if we want to get back in the game'?

I have no issue with people making emotional responses on a forum like this, and it's certainly more worthwhile reading than the predictably sanctimonious 'holier than thou' posts that pop up from the Mother Teresas on here.

If people are making stupid comments like Lloris is a liability and predicting that we'd finish 6th as soon as we go a goal down therefore they shouldn't mind if they're called outon it later on in the thread, no harm done.

When analysing Alli's goal he claimed he scored a very similar one back in the day...I shit you not :ROFLMAO:

To be fair though, his comments were complimentary, praising the players, talking about their heart and not in any way trying to take credit for any of it. I think he's learnt something about how to do media, might even make him a better manager.

The comment he made there was he did something like that as a kid against people who didn't know how to play but never in the premier league - he was genuinely full of respect and praise.

He made mistakes with us and Villa but when someone learns and moves on, I'd give the benefit of the doubt every time.

Best media performance I've seen from him in a while. Seemed to have genuinely changed in himself.

Exactly. Don't make such stupid kneejerk responses if you don't want to be called out.

Surely you just ignore the type of person who makes the same kind of inane bollocks every game? (Not naming any names but it rhymes with Hank Spurs )

The general doom and gloom in the match day thread is a bit of a downer but that's partly what makes it all the sweeter when we win?

The one that amuses me the most is our David. I love imagining him sitting in his bedsit eating sugar puffs from a plastic bowl cleaning up the thread with his dislikes until his internet dongle runs out of credit.

Each dislike costs him minutes of Internet time but it's irrelevant. He needs to clean the thread.

It's important!

The irony is delicious, well done :D

I'm not sure we agree as to what constitutes an emotional response………But OK, seeing as I feel lumped in with the Mummy T's i'll bite…...:nailbiting:

What I would like to know is how posting something like "Lloris can leave as far as I'm concerned, he's been a liability on so many occasions this season" is an emotional response.

I would also like to know how these 'emotional' responses are not then tempered by the perps later on when they have had ample time to have calmed down, the opposite in fact, they actually return later on to reinforce their position.

Finally, i'd like to understand how a poster, whose position on a subject, lets say in this instance Danny Rose, will at first real or imagined opportunity, take and push their preconceived agenda throughout the thread, how is that an 'emotional response'?

So, Mother Teresa*………….Over to you

*I'm sure you'll forgive me, that part was an emotional response :p

Without doubt yesterday was one of my favourite ever away days. The feel good factor is unbelievable right now - better than 2009-11 for me personally, for sure.

Incredible stuff.
