With our 'streamlined' squad :roll:, we will now need to be selective in the cups if we want to challenge for 4th.

How do we prioritise ?

I think we need to go out of the Carling asap. We can't sustain that and a chase for 4th.

We had what 28 players going in to today. We are allowed 25. We NEEDED to streamline the squad.

That said, we got a shit draw in the CC and I won't be too disappointed if we go out to Stoke away.

I don't want us to go out of any tournament. Streamlined squad? Don't we have just one less registered player than this time last season? We have a very capable squad of 24 registered players, plus those that don't even need to be registered and are more ready for first team football than they were 12 months ago. We should be able to surmount a challenge in every game we play.

WTF we have more than enough players, plus a whole heap of promising youngsters that we can we choose to blood into certain games if we see fit. We got rid of players who were on big wages and wern't going to get a squad place, or in some cases had replacements lined up for them, we streamlined sensibly.

Jeez.
