I'd be massively disappointed if this is true, coupled with Walker leaving. Both these players stated their desire to stay at Tottenham for a while and yet in the summer here they are complaining and wanting to leave.

Both players owe a lot to Poch and this is how they repay him. Disgusting.

If people actually listened to what he said when he was invited onto the 5 Live Show with Jenas at the end of the season, without the Spurs tinted specs, it was quite literally a warning to the board to show some ambition in the market.

Considering Rose has literally said Poch is like a father to him, this would be extremely disappointing. Walker may have had clashed opinions with Poch, but he was respectful to the club the whole way through the window. Plus we are nursing him through injury right now and he does this. I not sure how much of an issue I believe it is. There was a raft of ITK over the last day or so about how settled Rose was, and how he will not be sold. Pre-empting this incoming aryvle?
Going forward, if it is Rose, how should we react? Keep him? Given his current injury situation, not unrealistic. Do we go get the signings we need/he wants to see, and all live happily? Or do we sell for an exorbitant price, knowing we have struggled to find a replacement RB, and left footers are even harder to find. One option would be to rinse Utd big time on a fee, and also demand Shaw, based on Poch's past with him.

Worryingly, after what has been our best season of the Premier League era, we are having our toughest summer to date. Yes, we were ahead of the majority of the pack, but to maintain that, and also improve to overtake Chelsea, we need to improve at the same rate as the others or quicker. So far, most teams around us are clearly identifying and addressing the areas they needed to in order to be better than last year. We need to do likewise.

To be fair you're better off reading newspapers than listening to TalkSport, which is utter garbage. If you want to know what's happening at Spurs, read Matt Law at the Telegraph, David Hytner at the Guardian and Darren lewis at the Mirror. Their reports are fair and normally accurate.

In fact, Matt Law at the Telegraph is THE journalist to follow re Spurs.
