I had hoped to sleep this one off...doesn't seem to have worked. Hopefully Hugo and Kane can pull the players together today and beat into their heads that they are fighting for each other, and that when everyone pulls his own weight we can achieve everyone's ambitions of silverware, but when players rocks the boat - it impacts the players themselves far more than Levy or Joe Lewis.

Seeing as Rose is still on his way back from injury, can we get our medical staff to accidentally put his knees back-to-front before we sell him for £70m? :cautious:

True.

Only difference is we wouldn't have then gone sick for a whole year and thought 'fuck this, I'm worth so much more now I'm nearly healthy again, lets slag these ****s off so they have to sack me so I can get what I am truly worth.'
I think we can agree that he has something to prove at Spurs after being injured. However, the isolated action of accepting a contract improvement shouldn't be held against him. What should he have done? Rejected a new contract entirely because he was worth a million more?

Ehh.... let's not be daft. Yes Davies is not as good as Rose - nobody is saying otherwise but to dismiss his impact since Rose got injured is ridiculous.

Agree he had a few good games after he got into his stride, but he lost us the game against Liverpool, overrun by Mane.

I'd much prefer Shaw - 6 years younger than Bertrand and still only 22!
Didn't realise Bertrand was older than Rose, or that Shaw was that young, would definitely prefer Shaw then if we'd a choice but again the fucking wages would be an issue there you would think. Money has killed football.

Asked for more then maybe?

Reject a deal until he thought it reflected his worth?

What he definitely shouldn't have done though is live off his unearned wages then demand more giving less...

All the while pissing on what the club has built under Poch et al.

You are right, but now we are simply going in circles. He behaved useless in the media. Yet, he should be allowed to accept a contract renewal in the past.

Wages could be an issue with Shaw since United pay everyone high wages (Lingard on £100k/wk) but Shaw may be willing to take a cut since it seem that he just isn't in Mou's plans. Shaw is 21 so for him the question becomes do i want to be paid very well and never play or paid decent and play regularly?...who knows what direction he would go.
