Best Sanchez in North London
Sorry missed that one, We havn't overpaid looking at that list
We've paid the market rate, which is unlike Levy. Not that I'm complaining.
I was excited when we signed Ramon Vega tho
Me too & our record with deals of 30M+ isn't to good either.
Well I suppose we smash those myths, along with winning at Stamford Bridge, Anfield, Old Trafford, Emirate ,the biggest one winning constantly at Wembley and just to be greedy the league would be great too.
John do u ever stop moaning mate?Me too & our record with deals of 30M+ isn't to good either.
62 years old, just in from work to find out we've finally officially announced this transfer and just about to open a bottle of very fine red to celebrate and feeling about 21 again. This is a massive signing because it shows we can now attract the top young players out there who also wish to be a part of what is happening at this wonderful football club. It is testament to the manager's belief in nurturing young talent and then reaping the rewards rather than trying to buy established stars in the billionaires marketplace. It sends all the right messages to other "would be" Messi's and Ronaldo's that here at Tottenham you will be given your chance to establish yourself and won't be resigned to the reserves season after season until somebody decides to throw you a lifeline. This lad has joined because he totally buys into what the club is trying to create.
The Paul Merson's of this world may well be saying "Never heard of him" just to attract media attention at the moment but I'm convinced after this season everyone will know his name. A record signing maybe....but perhaps this is one milestone that in time will allow the club to attract similarly talented players and create many, many more records in the future.
I shall sleep soundly tonight ....it's a good deal and it's a done deal. Brilliant !
Old bugger. I remember when we signed Mike England in August 1966
