Probably not the time for bigging anyone up. But Ive said it before and I'll say it again, I fucking love Daws.

Would have loved to see him lift the trophy and for that alone I am glad we gave it a proper go and took the Europa League seriously. You just know he is as gutted as us.

No he's not. He's got a good die hard attitude.

He constantly gives possession away through pointless long balls and makes rash challenge after rash challenge.

I would say blocking is the strongest part of his game.

Weak points being his pace, lack of 1v1 awareness, positioning, decision making.

If the Spurs first 11 was picked on personalities he would be the first in my team.

How many times did he come flying in and miss time his challenge and get caught outta position?

I reckon Vertonghen was ultimatley responsible for Vertonghens red card.

Had dawson not tried to control a slippery ball in the 91st minute, in the pouring rain, and instead just headered it up the pitch, Verts would never have been put into an impossible situation

What the fuck? He made a very poor decision irrespective of what went on before that. Please dont try and suggest he had no other option.

You can keep that going forever but you must agree there is a scenario possible where Dawson could make that error and then Verts cleanly tackle the striker hence otherwise Dawson would of got the red card if he was responsible.

It's weird but as gutted as I am that we are out, seeing Daws close to tears at the end made me feel worse for him!

I'm so thankful that he is still here

Maybe we would of won that game if we had a good CB, Dawson is a good hardworking player who clearly cares for the club but he is NOT good footballer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
