Kaboul should be gone before Daws

On Lamela: "The £27.5m signing from Roma made just 17 appearances for Spurs during a difficult debut season which accumulated in his omission from the Argentina squad for the World Cup."
Do journalists even have to pass an English exam? I got a D in English Language and even I know the word he's looking for is 'culminated'.
Anyway, if Dawson does go I'll be disappointed. I feel he got a lot of flack by fans who saw what they wanted in our defence(Rose and Dawson always at fault) but there are plenty that still appreciated him too.
Anyone else remember everyone singing "Dawson for England" on the last day of the 09-10 season? It was whilst the player of the year was announced and luckily he got it or the winner would've felt a bit silly accepting the award as we were all signing Dawson's name. He's been a great player for us and he's a great guy too.

Kaboul did look very rusty last season, but that's no surprise given the length of his lay off. There is plenty of scope for him to recover his form. Dawson's limitations on the other hand can't be sorted. The truth is that he gives 110% all the time but doesn't suit the style of play anymore. I won't moan if he stays because he's been so loyal for so long, but if a move comes off that works for everybody I'd be delighted.
There's not much scope for Kaboul to recover his form next season, he will never be the same player. He's a King, a Woodgate, a Hargreaves.
You can only be sure of that after the event. I remember when people were saying Gazza was finished.
I'll just be happy tbf.I'll be gutted and happy at the same time when he leaves.
True though Daws was a different beast with King as his partner .

If we could somehow make about 20m from the sales of Dawson, Livermore and Defoe that would be pretty damn good business.
It would be incredible business. You mix in potential sales of Sigurdsson, Lennon, BAE, and Falque, and you're looking at 40 million pounds of outgoing sales in 2014 that should all be re-invested in the squad. That buys you Remy (8 million),Moreno(11 million) and Rodriguez (20 million)! We'd be sorted with that alone and we'd make a profit!
Lloris
Walker Moreno Vertonghen Rodriguez
Sandro
Paulinho Eriksen
Lamela Adebayor Remy
We could have no long-serving players soon- and that's not good.
