Rio quoting Bilic there.
They will, no doubt. But England v Iceland will be so much more fun than the inevitable penalty loss to PortugalI fancy Iceland to kick the shit out of us...
Not really. I believe you are doing the proverbial chicken counting. Would you bet your mortgage on Woy devising a plan to breakdown Iceland?Hodgson you are one lucky owl faced ****
Still wouldn't be surprised if we got knocked out by Iceland.
I'm counting nothing. My bet on us beating Portugal (who have knocked us out of three recent tournaments and are a bit of a bogey side in competition football) would be a LOT smaller. Not really. Yup, play Vardy, Rooney, Rashford, Kane and Sturridge all up top and see what happens....Not really. I believe you are doing the proverbial chicken counting. Would you bet your mortgage on Woy devising a plan to breakdown Iceland?
1) Because playing Iceland is fun.Not sure why folks celebrating Iceland.
England weren't good enough to beat Russia or Slovakia, and got a lucky last minute win against Wales.
I fancy Iceland to nick it 2-1 in extra time

1) Because playing Iceland is fun.
2) Because if Iceland win, I won't be too disheartened as I love the place.
3) Gylfi
4) The alternative was Portugal and I can't stand the thought of Ronaldo scoring a winning penalty and dumping us out again.
Completely agree. I've been there twice and will want to go again. Absolutely nice people there. Think about this: I went to a shopping mall and went inside the Island Bank to change money. The guy told me not to change there and gave me directions to get out in the street to change in another bank that would give me much better rate.
Judging by the shots from the stands half the women are there too. The best crowd shots of the tournament have been in the Iceland games. If you're single, now's the time to go! Half the men are now in France. Hmmm, Icelandic women.....
