I've got a dilemma.
Basically the gf has 'arranged' for us to go out this weekend and due to commitments on her side Saturday seems (to her) the only logical day to go out. However this obviously clashes with Spurs and a couple of other things that I wanted to do (of lesser importance), so I suggested going out another time...
[I'm mindful that this may not be just about going out and that this could in fact be one of those 'tests' that gf/bfs occasionally try (which I have no understanding of). I'm also mindful I have a totally irrational love of Tottenham and put it ahead of most things (inc family on occasions)]
So when I suggested alternative options the response was that she will go out on her own instead and we can go out 'another day' (girl talk for fuck off you nob, you're now in deep trouble). Obviously my usual trick to to play dumb and say "okay" and then deal with whatever consequences at a later date (hence winning on both fronts).
So Scers is this generally the correct approach? Does this, on the whole, work to the Spurs devotee's favour or do larger cracks appear?
And how do others usually play this struggle for power?
Any help greatly appreciated (as I know you are impartial and will say what is best for the good of the universe)
Kindest Regards
