Hows he been getting along ?
Scored 2 last night as Toronto won 3-2.
So that's 7 goals and 2 assists in 8 games there? Not bad!
It's the MLS and MLS is missing some of its better players right now who are with their respective national teams. It's bottom half of the championship level to begin with. Right now its like league 1/league 2 quality. If Defoe wasnt getting goals, it would be embarrasing no matter the type of service.Highlights:

Not bad, no. In the games i've watched Toronto are not great at getting service to him either.

Its a complete joke and an absolute travesty that MLS does not abide by FIFA dates. Should be taking a 1.5 month break for the WC instead of playing matches of absolute terrible quality that does not show what the MLS is truly like.
Powerful voices in soccer on both sides of the ocean cautioned Toronto FC against cracking open the vault for Jermain Defoe late last year.
They weren’t down on Defoe, the English striker who consistently electrified the Premier League with an astronomical strike rate.
Instead, they warned about Defoe the overtly loyal son; Defoe the mamma’s boy.
I have a Defoe watch. It always runs a bit too early.
