Lennon and O'Haras delivery was impeccable last night, well, for the goals at least. (Especially Lennon.)
Unfortunately I only got to see the highlights. Lucky balls in? Or a general improvement due to confidence?

As a whole our long balls were faultless, from what I could tell from the highlights.

Lennon's was pretty good. O'Hara and Bale were a bit hit and miss.

Bale's delivery seems to have gone largely to pieces which is concerning.

Thought O'Hara's delivery was pretty impressive last night...as was Lennons (for once!)

In the highlight reel, he made a few good crosses that we failed to attack.

Lennon put in some very good balls and largely made mince meat of their full back, who was shocking. He is very much coming into form.

O'Hara put in a couple of good balls and was largely what you expect. Bale put in a couple of superb balls that were almost too good, but also a few crappy ones. But I think people expect too much. beckham has put in loads of crap balls in his time, but no one remembers them, they only remember the good ones

I'm glad this has been mentioned, I was SO impressed with Lennon last night, he only made a couple of errors when trying to beat his man and for the most part he produced excellent delivery consistently throughout the game and even better than that, using both his left and his right!

It would arguably be a good idea to start playin him on the left wing, with Bentley on the right.....at home anyway, away I still like O'Hara as he tracks back and wins a lot of 50-50's, much like Steed used to do.

Good stuff from Aaron last night. If only we could get him to fight a little harder (like SWP does for Man City).

What?! Lennon's biggest quality this season has been his fight. Tracking back and never giving up.

nice one nic. I'm so pleased that the energy of Lennon has not gone unnoticed. For me, he's a player reborn - the upgrade of Lennon we've all been waiting for. I'd go so far as to say he's in the running for most improved. His crosses and offensive involvement last night were the fulcrum, for the most part, of the majority of all that was good about us in the first half.

OHara is not an out-and-out winger so we can't label him with those duties and expect world class performances as such.

What he did do though is work in tandem with Bale, covering overlaps etc and basically doing what he does best with his energy - harrying.

Bale is nineteen. He will make mistakes that cost and he will fall short of what the football world knows he can produce. We'll see it in glimpses for a season or two until he settles down with maturity and experience. Last night he put some cracking crosses in that were not met by our strikers as they were too good!

Lennon had an amazing game last night. Most people have managed to neglect the fact that his 'control' was second to none last night, he was bringing the ball down like a certain Bulgarian last night!

Don't get over-excited lads..we were playing terrible defenders last night. Lennon etc had less pressure so they could deliver better.

Wait a few more league games and then judge if the improvement is genuine or if it's just the crap opposition.

Lennons crosses though have been much better this season, even when under pressure from decent defenders. For me at the game last night, i thought that some of O'Haras deliveries were a bit hit and miss, defeniatly cant fauylt his workrate though, he never let the Liverpool midfeild have much time on the ball all night.

Biggest shock of the night though was Zokora actually doing something usefull with the ball and getting an assist.

Lennon's delivery started off pretty poor, but as the game went on, his delivery improved dramatically (although he still put in some woeful balls, but who doesn't). When Lennon can cross the ball as well as he did last night, he's so much more useful to the team than Bentley is. Even when Lennon's delivery is poor, he'll still win countless corners, free-kicks and just generally torment the opposing defence throughout the whole time he's on the pitch. As for his work-rate and tracking back, it's always been excellent, especially for a winger. He could easily play as a wing back if he had to.

I think, that Lennon has probably been our best player this season.
He was one player that was actually doing thing right under Ramos, and he is continuing that form with Redknapp.

My brother reckons he'll be called into the England squad...

Extremely weak crosses yesterday. Lennon had 2 that was ok.....kinda shit when it is his job. O'Hara really crap and Bale even more crappy.

O'Hara and Bale usually gets it right but Lennon might be a lost cause when it comes to deliver the final pass. To bad since i really like the guy and he'd be worldclass with a better final touch.

If last night was extremely weak I hate to think what category you would put crossing at in some of the games prior to last night.

To my mind it was without doubt a massive improvement in crossing quality than to what has been occurring this season.
