Re the waving of money, in my experience, opposition fans tend to associate that with us. But like I said, only in my experience.

1) To be honest, I find the whole attitude of "I hate the fans of...." to be puzzling. 2) Just because someone supports a particular team, for example because of where he/she or even where his/her father is from, it doesn't make that person 'inferior' or persona non grata.
