My brother has a few health issues and to be honest they have been really good we were in the Paxton previously and because he was on crutches for a while they moved him into the seats low down in the west stand (does anyone else still want to say enclosure) he spoke to the disability person - we moved into the Park Lane at the new ground and quite high up and though he has managed to get up there its been really difficult for him. He contacted the disability person and she was great including phoning me up to check that it was ok to move me -
When the lady came through and told me it was from Spurs I thought Mourinho had finally recognised my undoubted talent and had given up the search for a back up to Kane though tbh I was concerned if the new shirts came in 4xl as i do like them baggy and feel though I may not be quite as quick as I used to be my ability to point and shout a lot in between taking long deep breaths is one the side is desperately lacking
Sounds like some cockerals coming home to roost. I can't help but think that if the STs had been around £700 for most seats rather than £1000, the club would have enjoyed much more goodwill through the stadium delays, teething issues and bad performances. And now the virus has struck, there'd be far fewer people who didn't even really want to renew having felt used and unvalued in recent years, and it would be a more viable proposition for those who did but are economically insecure - the club would be on a far more stable footing. Clearly they haven't learnt their lesson though, trying to blackmail members into renewing at full price when they can't even hope to get tickets - I don't think the threat of "you'll lose your points and your place on the waiting list!!!" will work for long.
I do as well. But West Ham STs aren't exactly pricey. I wouldn't be surprised if 100% of their cheapest ticket was more than 20% of some in our ground. That obviously effects people's attitudes and reactions.Looks like every club doing things differently on renewing ST's e.g WHU seems like you pay the full price on ST then get a refund on any games you can't attend
" NEW - Automatic refunds for every game you can’t attend due to social distancing measures " ,
in effect an interest free loan to the club !!!
Think I prefer the 20% option.
