One may easily breake ones tongue trying to pronounce his name and would be a nightmare for English commentators (but I am sure they would have a name of "destroying" his name).
Left-footed attacking MF who can play on either LMF or CMF.
Where did tribals get their idea that Ramos will switch to a 4-3-3 formation?
I know it's only tribals folks but as many of their rumours have been posted here before why not another one.

Spurs to offer £10M for Bilyaletdinov

Tottenham are planning a £10million move for Russian star Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.

The People says Spurs coach Juande Ramos equalled the club's transfer record with the £16.5m capture of Croatian Luka Modric. Now Ramos wants to add another man who played a key role in England's Euro 2008 downfall, Lokomotiv Moscow's Bilyaletdinov, 23. He can play on the left wing or as an attacking midfielder and would help Ramos switch to a possible 4-3-3 formation next term.

Good player but I think it's very unlikely now we've got Modric - they play in exactly the same position (same with Arshavin too in fact).

If we buy another attacking midfielder I'm sure it will be a driving box-to-box one (i.e. an upgrade on Jenas), rather than another playmaker.

He's more like Left winger than attacking midfielder, so yes lets buy him

This guy is sheer class. He has tremendous speed, a great left foot, fantastic crossing ability, scores loads of goals and most importantly is a very smart player who works really hard. Him on the left of midfield would be amazing. He is also tall and would suit the Premiership.

Nowhere near you description. Class is when a player has one bad game in a season. This guy is more like Jenas - 2-3 bright sparks but in general many years of unfulfilled promise.
Plays for Locomotiv Moscow and his level is, well , like his team very average. I could compare him to Anna Kournikova of Russian football. Pin up boy with no real heart for fight.

Has there ever been a good russian playing in the english league? Kanchelskis doesn't count as he wasn't native russian.

Milwall signed a couple a decade ago but they were dreadful.

Have the big teams ever bought many? From what i can recall all the russians to play here have been average ones who cost peanuts and played for very ordinary teams.

Also, Russian football seems to have improved a lot in the last few years. Look at how Zenit have stepped up with a team dominated by Russians. If Ramos thinks he's good enough then I'll take him with open arms. He has a track record for liking Eastern European players so he'll know about that region than I do - I know nothing!

What a coincidence! Bilialetdinov is not Russian either, his ethnic Tatar.
Does it matter in footballing terms?
