Didn't know this. The variety of injuries here makes me think we should avoid! I'm sick of us having good players who spend half the time on the treatment table.
It’s the pubalgia that’s the concerning one for me as it caused me absolute nightmares for 2 years. Kept me out initially for 3-4 months and came and went for the next 18 months or so. Vlahovic isn’t rapid but he’s definitely got decent speed and it could be a problem for him going from my own experience.

Just looked up that injury and realised that is what has been plaguing me since autumn.

I think the other positions are related to other factors. Eg whilst we know we absolutely need another CB, that isn’t happening until 2 from Dier, Sanchez & Tanaganga are moved on.

I also think we need another CM who is capable/comfortable doing what Bissouma did yesterday, patrolling infront of the defence, resisting the press and setting the tempo. I’m not sure Skipp has that skillset. Bentancur does, but that takes him away from the 8 position where I feel he adds more value. Sarr maybe, not seen enough. That’s where I think Hojbjerg’s departure opens up scope for another incoming player. Douglas Luiz would be ideal, athletic, technical, also leader, and set piece skills.

Finally, I’m still concerned about our attacking play. While our ability to hold possession centrally looks much improved, wide areas needs some attention, players who can pull defenders out of position. This is where someone like Kudus makes sense. Then add a CF for depth, Vlahovic is more starter than depth, so presents us with the same Richarlison conundrum, but would be a level up as a front man in terms of clinical finishing, again also a cannon left foot at set pieces. Could Richarlison we the WF option?? Or is Orban the happy middle ground, instinctive finisher, good athleticism, but perhaps not as experienced or refined yet to demand to start.

I know most want and like Vlahovic, but his injuries are a real concern especially with the money involved. He could turn the injuries around, but such a risk. Had a look at a Juves Forum and most there seem to want him gone and feel they really overpaid for him. I get that a fit Vlahovic would be the best option available, but personally think we should look elsewhere or a different position and get someone like Orban as a back up.

I can't understand why some want to swap him for Richarlison. We need someone like Vlahovic, in addition to having Richarlison. Even without CL or European football we need minimum 2 ready strikers. So I am all for getting Viahovic. It would be a great statement signing.

I think the idea for most people would be get Vlahovic with Richy and some £££ and sign Orban as a back up. Would be an ideal set of strikers IMO, one top drawer striker for now and one prospect as back up that we can also bring off the bench. I think Orban would be ideal as a super sub in the Defoe mould

Absolute **** of an injury isn’t it. Have you had physio on it?
I just thought it was a strain so just been trying to rest then get back into exercise gently - physio trip definitely on the cards now.

Orban is the only striker we will be bringing in
Does someone need to put a little IMHO on the end of that ...or do you know....like really know as opposed to stating something you think will be the case with utter certainty so should it come to fruition you can congratulate yourself?

Fair enough. Personally I wouldn't want that. I want both but would settle for Orban if that is the case.

I dont need to congratulate myself but thanks lol. Its painfully obvious how this one will play out and you need to stop reading every comment as if it is ITK. Ive passed ITK on before but doubt I will get any further and if I am lucky enough to get anymore then I will let the mods know first as per the rules.

I hate that sort of post, opinion dressed up so it could maybe be info.
Ambiguous and annoying, imo.

It may be painfully obvious to you but that doesn't mean everybody else thinks the same.
It's not hard to add an "in my opinion", or "I reckon", just to remove any confusion or people making the assumption that's it's either info, or something you've dragged off twitter.

Yeah that’s exactly what I did too, didn’t work. What I did was have a couple sessions of physio at least, rested it for a month or so and I was then able to get back into playing slowly but surely after that. It re-occurred the next season for me but I was 15-16, so various things could have caused that like growing and not having the same core strength an adult would have. Definitely have some physio done on it mate, it will help for sure

If I had ITK info again I would just say it is ITK like I did last time. Weve got to a point on here that everyone reads every opinion/post as if it is ITK. I'll add the Imo on my post for you though.

The above is IMO btw and also not ITK

Trouble is, before you know it, “We are only signing Orban” becomes fact, spreads to twitter, spreads back here packaged as someone else’s info and all of a sudden the whole online fanbase is in meltdown.

I get what you’re saying about people needing to realise not everything is ITK, but let’s face it, people are dumb. Only yesterday there was a meltdown about Eric Dier based on a couple of fake tweets and him unfollowing Spurs on insta (when he never even followed them to begin with.)

That's my point, most of us have been around the block enough times to be able to filter out most stuff but as you say, it was only two days ago that someone went postal and ended up deleting their account, just because of a stupid rumour.

And we know that plenty of people like to take info from here and spread it all over Twitter, especially if it's something that can be seen as negative and fit certain agendas.

Swapping Richy for Vlahovic and bringing in Orban as a backup sounds like perfect business. Which obviously means there is 0% chance of it happening.
Not sure about that. Bringing 2 who are unproven in this league for one who is. We should get 1 to compete with Richarlison not make 2 changes and give ourselves more work.

I swear people are obsessed with signings. I'm reading people talk about cashing in on Richarlison like we haven't already cashed in big time for Kane. Like we need to sell another senior first team player.
