I agree with above about Townsend. He deserves a chance way more than Zaha; the name precedes him it's a joke.

It's about time they get in a manager who will pick based on ability and performance alone not name or reputation.

Are the ITV speakers in the Scotland end or has it finally come to the point where England fans simply don't care about this team?

Taking my blue and white tinted spectacles off for a minute and I know he only had one half but I really don't see what all the hype is about Jack Wheelchair. Runs around a lot with his arse in the air and his tongue hanging out but he seems to lack vision to me. I guess with the lack of quality around in English football in a blind world a one eyed man is King. I think that given game time Tom Carroll could become just as good a player as him.

Well done, Scotland. You turned up and played very well, with pride.

Have to say Wellbeck always appears to me as some lucky kid who gets picked by mistake and somehow manages to surprise me with a goal

Great moment that the Lambert goal.

At least that was a friendly match with a bit of impetus and tempo to it for once.

Cue Strachan saying we should do this every year... Just to boost his team's Fifa ranking

It's a shame we pick squads based on the player's reputation or the club they play for. Zaha is solely in that squad because he plays for Utd. If Welbeck, Cleverly and Chamberlain played for smaller teams and played as little as they currently do they wouldn't be anywhere near the squad.
