I heard on the radio before the match that it could be a lively track for the Oval. Harmison's first ball was hit by Smith and put down by Cook. It could have been a sweet start for all!!

Not sure you can read to much into this. SA have already wrapped up the series so all in all this test is pretty meaningless for them.

KP and England real test will be in the winter tests when there is something to really play for.

I want to believe that its got nothing to do with SA's apathy towards the game but I have a sneaky suspision they just don't really care subconsciously.
