I know we got a bit to go before kick off, but I decided to start this thread. As a yank I'm excited about this. I know it doesn't mean much to most of you in England, but our national team is continually improving and we have a stretch of friendlies here that are really going to test our squad. I'm not a fan of the MLS, but I am a fan of our national team. I have no idea what to expect from England, I don't even think they know what to expect from themselves.

I'm going to have a look I think. Like pretty much everyone else, I've been apathetic about the national set-up for a while, but I've not seen any of our games under Capello yet.

I find it bloody hard to root for Terry, Ferdinand and Cashley, though, even in proper tournaments.

Be good to see the Hudd get on at some stage. Anyone know if he's starting or on the bench?
