Wouldnt be a transfer window without the obligatory "Lamela to back to Serie A" story....

When fit, was probably one of the first names on the team sheet at the start of last season... Set the tempo to how Poch likes our team to press.

Absolute non-starter unless we know his injury has done some perm damage that he wont recover from...

He's in the top 10 without a doubt, however we managed pretty well last year when he was unavailable
At the risk of upsetting the Lamela fan club on here even more, there's no way he's better than Lloris, Rose, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Wanyama, Dier, Alli, Eriksen and Kane. All of those are amongst the best players in the league in their position. Lamela is nowhere near that. I'd also have Dembele, Son, hell even Davies and Trippier, ahead of him.

As for the link, it's clearly a load of bollocks.

If Wilshere is valued around 10m after being all but pronounced dead, think it's fair to expect £30m back if we sold Lamela - which I don't think we should or will.

No chance we will sell him and no chance any team will touch him he's not kicked a ball In 10 months and is still no where near fit to return.

Complete rubbish, no chance he will leave in this window

TalkSPORT are now reliable? This is not happening, him and Eriksen are our only creative players, he will come back this season and be brilliant

We just don't know enough about his situation as fans to know whether he should be sold or not and what the price should be. Will he be fit again? Will he sign a new contract?
Compared to other transfers this summer Lamela should probably be a £80m player. But not if those two questions have a negative answer

Agree to disagree. He's easily in our starting eleven when fit. I'd argue only Eriksen and Kane are better than a fit Lamela. And even that's close.
I love Lamela but surely Dembele, Toby and Lloris have to be considered better in their respective positions also?

Brilliant however that we have so many players of similar top quality.

If he's fit enough or going to be fit enough that a team would spend relatively big money on him there's no way we'd sell. Poch rates him highly and would want him here.

If he's not fit or going to be fit enough then no one would pay money for him.

There's no chance he's leaving in this window, crocked or not.

He's certainly a starter in a 4231 formation. Maybe not with a 3421 wing back system. He's the equal to our top players though. Comparable to the Eriksen, Dele, Dembele, Vertonghen, Son, Rose's etc in the squad .... as long as it's a fit Lamela. Last summer I tipped him to be our best player the upcoming season. Was a blow to see him injured again.
