In 33 minutes, Capoue made more interceptions (6) than West Brom (5), West Ham (5) and Sunderland (4) all managed across the whole 90 minutes of their games.

Looks a really strong boy, he's going to be well suited to the premier league.
Is he not what arsenal are crying out for??! Amazed they didn't go for him

Going to be very good. What impressed me is that when he intercepts or tackles he doesn't panic and hoof, he makes a clever, calm ball clear.

Quite the midfield forming.

Watched the game with the old man on the telebox and he really liked the look of him, thought he was very impressive and bearing in mind he's a miserable old git who moans the majority of the time when he watches us play, that's quite an achievement.

Looks a real quality player. Reminded me of Palacios but more elegant and composed, seems an absolute bargain for £9m.

He was stalking those bastards today. Honestly, if he plays like that regularly Dembele will be looking over his shoulder

Very surprised we got him so easily!

Half an hour is nothing to judge someone on, but of the 4 new boys I was most excited by his cameo! He had a definite aura about him and looks like he has everything in his locker - looking forward to seeing more of him.......

for anyone who hasn't seen this, check out the intercepts

Capoue did in 10 mins what Carrick did in 90 mins

Won't be just Dembele. That was a hell of a cameo, not only did he cover the ground easily but when he had the ball he was cool, calm, collected and could actually use it too. Him and Sandro could become a formidable partnership!

Was at the game on Sunday and was so impressed. He is strong and bigger than I thought he would be. Passed the ball forward with purpose too. Dembele may well be looking over his shoulder although I think it is more of a case that we have so much squad depth now. Dembele was not fully fit at the end of last season and we suffered. Imagine if Capoue could have come in then.

Looks like he could be a very good metronome for us in CM. Good at winning possession, releases it quickly and efficiently, and very very calm in possession. Imagine Carroll on 'roids and this is it.
