Yeah, but like we haven't made shit starts to games under our last 2 managers, it happens. Whats more important is that he gave them the bollocking they needed and we we're better second half. Lets give Tim the time needed to get all our top players fit before we start knocking the guy.

SC is a site set up for us Spurs fans to air our views...its all good being clever and saying we think he is the wrong man for the job when he actually proves that, just saying...the point of forums like SC is for us to air our opinions , be it before it happens, if it does..
Here goes..here is mine...Sherwood is not going to be a good manager for Spurs and he will be gone before his 18 months are up..IMO.OFC

I dont really need a patronizing rant on what forums are there for, cheers. Sherwood will live or die by his decisions of course, but some of you need to man up and realize that some Managers dont rate some players. If you have a problem with that then blame AVB for not getting good enough results to still be in the job.

55% pass completion against utd got him dropped, his fault, not sherwood's. bentaleb has outperformed him thus far, it's up to capoue to prove he's the better player.

Why are points suddenly the most important thing, they were being derided under AVB.
Point remains that the only decent team Sherwood's faced so far he was completely and utterly bamboozled and we got one shot on target.

We weren't even poor last week. Just beaten by two instances of poor defending and not enough potency going forward. Eriksen missing and Adebayor slipping, not sure how that's Sherwood's fault. But let's shoot Sherwood down because he lost a cup match to one of the best sides in the country in which we conceded two goals because we slacked it in defence.

Crap football got AVB the sack not points.
We have looked good against Stoke no one else.

Yesterday was fine. You can't play great every week. Crap football got AVB sacked, possibly. But it was the lack of goals, poor football and massive losses, not football alone.
Our football yesterday was fine. Poor first half, much improved 2nd. People said bigger tests await us before we played Man United. We won that one. We're not as bad as some believe.

The story in the SoS may be bullshit, but then again it would explain why Sherwood has pretty much snubbed Capoue so far. It wouldn't surprise me if a manager with some old-school English sensibilities like Sherwood chooses to make an example of someone to stamp out any bad habits he saw in the squad. Sure he won't get the stick AVB did with Abebayor, but then life's not fair sometimes.

Are you genuinely annoyed that we started slow in a game, where the opponents surprised us and despite this, we ACTUALL WON? LET. IT. GO. FFS.
We started off slowly, real poor for 20/25 minutes. We then improved and won. THAT'S FOOTBALL. Stop crying over it.

Apart from Stoke every game weve started slow.
Exactly 55% ball retention, replaced by Bentaleb who got 91% in that match and 93% yesterday.
There it is simply, currently Bentaleb is currently playing better than Capoue has at any stage this season, his passing has been pretty woeful this season.
Honestly not fussed if Capoue goes, we need to release a couple of players from the squad in order to bring in players in some other postitons (e.g. Left Back) and Centre Mid where we have too many similar players is certainly the area we should release from, and he (along with Holtby) are probably the weakest.
