This Pirlo guy. Must now rank equal to those former Italian greats Rivera and Mazzola.

Ah so you were the ref?

How minutes/seconds were there for stoppages?

I dont know.

I aint arguing about it. Its just my opinion that if he's willing not to blow up at the point of the free kick and allow them a chance to get it in the box......let them get it in the box......

its not like they decided to pass, pass, pass and pass then lob it in - they just wanted to quickly get it in from another angle by making one pass to the right back.

Ive seen ref's award freekicks and corners then blow up as soon as they take them. Makes no sense to me..might to you..but hey its all about opinions hey.

Low showed too much loyalty to Podolski, he should have stayed on the bench. Dsappointed that Gotze only got scrub minutes in this tournament.

That's a coincidence, free advertising for them.

What are those tapes called again?

After Arshavin, the Arse have bought another useless striker in Podolski.

I wouldnt say that Arshavin was useless as he was great for about 18monthsafter they signe him.

I hope that POdolski plays like he did during euro 2012 but you should never judge a player going by his play in an international tournament. See Pav/Zhirkov etc

Thought the Italians were fantastic tonight, 2 great goals from Balotelli, some brilliant defending and yet another master class from Pirlo. Really hope they win it now

He's been coming back from an injury and hasn't played much football. They only had him in the squad to get him used to international tournaments. His time will come...

Another cracking encounter between these two teams. Their's was the best game of the tournament at the 2006 world cup if I remember rightly. Once again Italy got their tactics spot on and if they had any decent strikers they'd have killed Germany off before it got a bit edgy last 15. The German's can hold their heads up, they play football the right way and their games games are always good. Technically good players, playing as a team, passing and moving. They just got out-tacticalled (ooh-er matron) by the Italians.

This game sealed my £650 bet on Spain/Italy final. Forza Italia !
