It's just more depressing every time.

Qarabag first I see.

Would be a really good time to try out a youth striker and Harry Winks imo. I don't think they have to be registered do they?

Someone at UEFA is getting their ringpieces torn out by Donna Cullen for not putting Son or N'Jie down as forwards!

That squad should have a decent chance at making it to Basel, if only the leaders and coaches at the Spurs could be bothered to give it a decent try.

Only 1 player over the age of 30, 4 28 year olds, the rest 26 and under... Crikey that's young looking.

Does this mean that we could not now register Adebayor until the knockout stages? It seems rather perverse to render your highest paid player unusable when:
a) there is space to include him without leaving anyone out;
b) he plays in a position where you desperately lack cover; and
c) he cannot now play for anyone else until the next transfer window, so you are stuck with him whether you like it or not
The phrase cutting of your nose to spite your face springs to mind.

you never know if a player can have that sort of effect early if you don't try them though

I'm guessing the management know. Rooney had the ability of a man much older than him at 16. Anyway I'm not doubting Harrisons talent just that its unlikely any 16 year olds are ready for first team football.

Ade would not help this squad. I doubt that he is even mentally fit enough to play right now, let alone physically fit. He is a disruptive force - whether he intends it or not.

The squad is better off with him on the outside.
