Even if we get Berahino, don't we still need another striker?

if ITK is correct and we get berahino, we will obviously have Kane and Saido. Who's the third striker? Who is going to play Cup games, Europa games, etc? Coulthirst just got loaned out. Are Kane and Saido really going to have to dress for every game in every competition? what happens if one gets hurt for a significant period of time? Are they seriously going to roll with Chadli and N'Jie as the third striker? N'Jie seems more of a wing guy.

I guess they should be more worried about getting one more striker before worrying about getting two, but i was just curious. Don't most teams go with three strikers on their roster?

It wouldn't really be much different to last season when we only had Kane and Soldado for a large part of the season.

Besides, what kind of half decent striker could we possibly get who would be happy effectivly being 3rd choice.

If Kane or Berahino/2nd striker aren't available or need a rest then we have Chadli. We also have N'Jie. If by some extraordinary event we couldn't field any of those four we could play Lamela up there as the nominal striker. If things were really that bad Coulthirst could come back from loan, even if he isn't up to the level he would at least run around a bit and be a nuisance for the odd game. Failing that we do have the youth system and we could see what Shay Harrison, or whoever, has to offer if those half a dozen in front of him in the queue are struck down.

So no, I think we will be ok.

Barely any injuries made everything seem more comfy than it actually was..

Berahino and N'Jie seem to be of a similar mould to me (granted this is based on the odd you tube clip of the latter and common attributes - pace, height etc...), would be nice to have a different type of striker to mix things up a bit... Saying that it looks like Poch is sculpting this team to fit into his plan A formation with Kane the main focal point, and dare I say it, doesn't appear to have a plan B...

i just mainly worry about injuries because well, Spurs.

last year Ade was sitting there if we had to use him. i wouldnt mind bringing in one more young guy personally. even Austin would be great as third choice. it would also give you option of playing a front 3 of N'Jie, kane, and Berahino which i think would be very interesting and still have cover.

Think we'll be fine if we sign Berahino. I'm more worried about our right wing, Could use an upgrade on Lamela/Townsend

I agree. We need another focal point, someone to spearhead the attack. When Kane came off today we had no focal point and so were pushed too deep

Are you serious?? No thank you. Get rid asap!!!!

Not ideal by any stretch of the amigation but I'd rather have bought Ade on than Lamela yesterday and I'm not convinced by Berahino. And definately not at £15m >....

With the way our team defends, we could do with another 10 strikers. Sort out the team defensively Poch and we'll be fine.

Yes Chadli is who Poch reckons can do the job.
