The part in bold is simply not true and the rest isn’t relevant to what I even said?
Did Jol get the players HE ASKED FOR? No.
But the key issue is that Jol got his team playing relatively quickly by adjusting the style to meet the players' capabilities, same as Harry. JM still doesn't know his best defense or midfield. You can't really dispute that.

I don’t know our best defence or midfield and I doubt you do, either. I don’t even think we have one. :D

We have literally become the new Arsenal and all those literally obsessed with sacking Mourinho are just like those who hounded out Wenger.

The guy who was managing this group of players but was expected to win all the time;

View attachment 85507

What did they do? Sack him, brought in two shiny new managers, bought loads more shit players and ended up worse.

It’s almost as if the players you have in the team affect the performances more than the manager.

NOT ONE single person is denying the players are part of the problem, and id say 6-8 of them need to go, but jose tactics are outdated, his management style is outdated, and worse of all he hasnt kept up with the way football has moved on, it's nigh on impssible to suck up so much pressure and then expect players to move up the field at pace, teams are fitter now & you cant expose that like before.

So you admit 6-8 players aren’t good enough, but then blame Jose anyway. Fuck it, why not hey

because mourinho is part of the problem, he's not the the only issue! the club is rotten from top to bottom at the moment. How can you not see it? are you so blindingly oblivious or arrogant as ive seen you calling others you cant admit that to yourself?

I think both are true. Is Jose past it? Yeah. Do we need to get rid of about eight of these players? Most definitely.

Nothing is actually going to change until both of these happen. This group is completely rotten, we have good players with poor attitude like dele and then a fair few with a good attitude like Dier who are well below the level required

No Matthew. I’m not saying Mourinho is blameless. I never said that. I dispute the notion it’s all his fault. The players are 100% more culpable. They have downed tools. They are getting paid full whack for less than full effort. I don’t let a personal vendetta towards Jose cloud that.

i dont have a vendetta against mourinho, and i was willing to give jose a chance, but he hasn't changed his ways/thoughts like he claimed when he took over, and i agree majority of them have downed tools, but the way he keeps chopping and changing, and exiling players ( bale ) for no apparent reason, aside from a poor 30 mins, THATS why i think he needs to go.

If he'd had 30 odd games next to Alderweireld he'd probably have grown a lot as player (and we'd probably be way better off in terms of points.)

Same with Tanganga, who has once again found himself on the outside looking in, for no fathomable reason

The lad isn't a RB, but he's slotted in there for the benefit of the team & done no worse than any of the alternative options. His best performance probably being against the team that's going to hammer us in next week's cup final.

He's absolutely a better RB than The D Word, and probably better defensively than Aurier. Yet he's once again forgotten by the maneger.

He's almost certainly a better CB than both of Dier & Sanchez, yet they're constantly selected ahead of him despite being nothing short of calamitous.

The potential for Tanganga & Rodon is so unbelievably promising. They both could've learned so much if they were used/alternated alongside Alderweireld, they could (potentially) become the mainstays at the heart of our defence. But Mourinho has constantly opted to go for the car crashes that are Dier & Sanchez.

It's just unfathomable.

Hit the nail on the head. I supported JM for longer than was reasonable but I feel so dejected that I actually didn't care when Kane equalised last night...

Nice response. Very arrogant.

Schmiechal = Lloris
Pereira > Aurier
Evans > Alderweireld
Soyoncu > Dier
Justin < Reguilon
Ndidi > Hojbjerg
Tielemans > Sissoko
Maddison > Ndombele (at least atm)
Barnes = Lucas
Vardy < Kane
Perez < Son

I don’t see where the arrogance even comes from. We are not better than Leicester. We are also 6 points behind them and they’ve got a game in hand. They beat us 0-2 at WHL in our only game so far this season. You do remember what happened in the title race between us as well, right?

Rice, Coufal, Soucek and Antonio would all start for us too. Probably a Diop or a Balbuena would perform better than the Dier’s and Sanchez’s as well tbh.

Blind arrogance will get us nowhere.
I was laughing more about West Ham tbh, Rice is the only player who would start for us. Not sure what 15/16 has to do with current situation, but if so then we made more points than Leicester last season since Jose came.
It's funny that both clubs have goalkeepers as good or better than Lloris and defence even better than us yet conceded more goals.

Still laughing at Mourinho taking off Ndombele and not Sissoko. And Reguilon and leaving three CBs on. He’s a wind up merchant.

Bonkers shit. You play against Everton with Pickford in goal and you need to be firing shots at him from anywhere.

What do we do ? Tottenham Braveheart -- Hold - Hold ffs.

I’m not angry or disappointed with Mourinho as much as I’m angry and disappointed with the players.

If a normal person goes to work with a bad attitude, thinking the boss is a prick and puts in next to no effort, I think it should be them who gets the sack, not the boss.

Thinking the boss is a prick and the boss being a useless, outdated prick are two entirely different things! You turn up for work and the boss makes your job impossible to do, to achieve max potential because of his methods, you get the hump and your morale, focus and desire are impaired, that is down to management not the employee!!

First time in a long time that a match meant nothing to me and probably to most other fans. Had we lost 3 nil or won 5-1, I’d have felt exactly the same. For me that is when I know time is up for this manager and many of these players. Did anyone really care what happened last night?

The full cycle is now complete and a refresh is needed from top to bottom of this club. You can see we’re rudderless and have no idea as a club where we are going.

Sad as it is to say, I don’t think HK was shaking his head as he came off because of his injury, it was a shake of the head which said “this is It for me”. We’ve broken the best player of our generation with performances of a championship side in the last 3-4 months. Everyone at the club is to blame, from coaches, to players, to the board.
If he has any sense he will leave this club has nothing to offer him.

I always care what happens to Spurs, every time they put on the shirt but I agree with your points.
