There are no boundaries for us if we just back Conte with all we have got. The man is brilliant. He's perfect for us. Passion, soul, DNA, exciting football, hard work... you name it.

Conte: "A strong team, a top team needs to have great character, great personality to be strong mentally because during the game you know you can have a period that you have to suffer because your opponent is pushing you a lot."

Give this man whatever he needs. Back him to the hilt!!
This is what it alll boils down to, we have one of the best stadiums in the world, in one of the world’s great cities. In my opinion the best striker in world football, elite world class manager. It’s all down to Levy now, if he f***s it up this time it’s hard to see it ever getting better.

Can't find the actual quote but he said something along the lines of ' when you smell the blood, you need to kill'.

Love it.

I always felt if we managed to stay in the fight for top 4 and not drift away like we threatened to do in February, then this guy would be the difference between us and Arsenal.

Of course we are better than them but that doesn't mean anything if you can't get through tough games and pressure.

This is where you don't want Arteta at the helm. He hasn't gone through a charge like this before, you need to keep your cool and find solutions with pressure on top.

Your rival plays before you and wins, you can't choke. Any slip up can lead to a reverse in confidence.

Arteta has managed to get to system in place but it lacks the ability to be resolute, it can't find a way when you just need to find a way.

Conte knows how to do all these things. He knows how to push his players, he knows how to keep them going during tough moments, he knows how to make little tweaks to save the game, he knows how to keep players focused and not lose balance.

Without him our season would have already been done and we'd likely be watching a pretty average Arsenal in the CL.

If Conte stays long term and wins trophies with us, I’d say that’s probably the most impressive feat of his already impressive managerial career.

Conte talks a lot about the commitment of the players to continue improving - I can't help but wonder if that is tied to Dele and Ndombele, in particular, leaving in January.

Both players strike me as someone who might not give 100% in training. And, without the distractions, everyone is working harder.

Sign this guy up to five years. We will win and keep winning. Just give him whatever he wants and watch the club fly.
It would be great but I honestly don't think he does long contracts, even if he signs one. I think , with him, you have to take it a year at a time. I'm sure DL will try to get some kind of extension though.

way to to twist positive quote about our players into a way to take shots at players that have left.

Like it's really impressive really

Conte would be a fool to sign an extension before the end of the transfer window.

Conte is no fool.

Maybe Levy can get him to agree during the WC break.

More an observation than a "shot"

I think the club appears to be a much more cohesive unit - and willing to play for each other - since January. I suspect that is created on the training ground where everyone sees and puts in the effort. It becomes contagious when everyone is pulling hard in the same direction.

Kane's attitude in particular seems much more energized and focused now, than he was early in the season - like he senses how good things can be here now.

Let’s not get carried away, there will still be stumbles. But…….. it looks to me like Conte’s ethos is finally starting to take shape. It probably has taken longer than he wanted to embed his principles, perhaps that’s why he commented when joining about never having taken over a team without a pre-season, but you can definitely start to see the interplay and movement starting to come as second nature now, and that will be the start of us moving upwards now. The interplay for the 4th today was fantastic to watch, this is what I want to see from Spurs. Started at RB, some lovely triangles, flooded down the right, some stunning interplay and flicks into space for runners to flood onto having seen the play open up.
Back him with the right signings this summer and we will only get better. They don’t have to be all world beaters, just the right pieces to fit the puzzle. Look at the difference Bentancur and Kulusevski have made, and they were deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus, probably weren’t most fans first choice additions. Smart signings, more of those please. Then a full summer to gel everything together.
Conte’s passion and enthusiasm is infectious. Players as well as fans will want to be onboard with that. But the fine line there is the passion of the highs will also bring the emotion of the lows (eg after Burnley).
