I think Conte was clever to not answer the post match questions about it. Tuchel not so much. I can't see how the appeal would fail for Conte.

Beautiful (it is the latest Conte Cam).

You can see that it was Antonio who offered the handshake, but then that fucking creep Tuchel chose to keep hold of his hand. It’s a provocative act, and I’m not sure Antonio then behaved any different than any normal person.

Conte should request a personal hearing for this. Then if the red is upheld, one by one shake the panel's hands refusing to let go

While keeping eye contact with them, and if they don't look/look away, drag them over the desk and start pushing them about.

Then ask if both of them are to blame!

If they reverse it I think they will for Tuchel too. To be honest I didn't think it was that big of a deal really. I think the ref is overreacting due to the history between the clubs but this game was nothing like out of control. I thought the players controlled themselves well this time. Just a gathering of players near the end but I didn't see anything bad going on. Its a passionate game at the end of the day, you have to allow a bit of expression. It's no different to letting a few heavy tackles go when it's a heated derby.

Of course it’s a big deal. TT can’t do that. It’s just shocking behavior. Conte is a coach that is renowned for not complaining, whinging etc (see athletic rankings) - TT acted like a little bitch. He intitiated a physical confrontation knowing it could not come to fruition. Awful.

The key is he initiated it. He has to take his red

Sorry but holding onto someone's hand isn't a big deal. It's no worse than Wenger giving Jose a little shove. But for sure if either deserves a red it's only Tuchel but I think more so that he deserved a 2nd yellow for running down the touchline than the handshake. It's all a bit handbags anyway.

What is the 4th official doing when TT runs down the touchline? Surely needs to bring it to the refs attention. You're paid to officiate - do your flipping job!

Maybe he did communicate it to the referee and maybe the ref decided it was too petty a matter to be concerned about.

Conte: If someone goes we must replace them

Antonio Conte on Tottenham signing more players before the transfer deadline:
"I think we are okay. If someone goes away, for sure another player has to come, especially if some players want to go and play regularly, it’s difficult to keep them here.
"At the same time, if someone wants to go to play then I have to replace them. This is very important because we need a squad capable to win games until November."

Who is he talking about that wants to leave to play regularly other than Reguilon (Ndombele and GLC who are all but gone) and Winks?

Did we appeal the Red card?

Seems to be still up in the air whether Conte has a touchline ban or not.

Really pisses me off that Ronnie can slap a small boys mobile out of his hand and gets no fine or ban by the fa. Conte doesn't do anything but try and get Tuchel to release his handshake and gets a red card. Just another litany of failures and double standards by the fa.

After the Romero incident and admission by Mike Dean (ON VAR) that he got that call wrong, there’s no way Conte escapes a touchline ban.

As pathetic as that sounds I just don’t see him avoiding punishment. Tuchel is nailed on for a ban and they’ll want to avoid the whole “favouring Spurs” nonsense
