You sound surprised. It's not like we haven't been saying this for a while now is it. Conte was gone on Friday, and then 3 days later they come out with Mason and Stellinni rubbish, because they are once again caught off guard? Do me a favour this has been playing out for weeks/months. It's the Nuno saga all over again. If he put a fraction of the planning he puts in place for his building projects into the football side of things we'd be set. Instead he just wings it all with a hundred different voices chirping away in his ear.

Financial genius, and an absolute clown of a football chairman.
This a million times. It’s a shambles and it’s not even debatable, Levy has been a looser for so long now. All he is capable of football wise is continuing the ‘Spursy’ meme. Levy is now a nightmare for us and the gift that keeps giving for other teams.

The thing is virtually ALL of us can now see it, the media see it, the pundits see it, the players must see it…

So :
1) Will we actually step up the protests etc now to try to force some sort of change of behaviour if nothing else?

2) Or are we so tired out by it all that we will just keep turning up being exhausted and bored by it all and that is that we just carry on in nothingness with no direction or plan or hope 🤷‍♂️

Conte nailed it, Steve Perryman just tweeted and nailed it
“Nothing will change if we keep doing what we’ve been doing for the last 20 years”

I don’t get why our fans protest in tiny numbers then it all dies down again, if man.u, Liverpool, arsenal etc were run like this their owners would’ve been hounded out by now or at least getting serious heat week after week from major protests etc.

Levy has masterminded a Stockholm syndrome system where ENIC invest and do just enough to constantly keep the wolves at bay, they know EXACTLY what they are doing, it makes me sick tbh.

The way this guy articulated his argument sums up exactly how we all feel! It’s not Conte it’s levy! And until he’s gone we are going around in circles. He’s just such a control freak and the fact he didn’t even pay much of a tribute to Conte for all he did for the club just shows his character.

Finally

The lack of any comments, likes or any noise at all from the players regarding Conte is resounding so far imo
Same as when Nuno left.

Just says to me that we hired yet another bad fit manager who bored and frustrated this group of players.

I don’t think this group are bad eggs 🥚 at all, I just think we’ve subjected a lot of them to have to work for 3 managers in a row all who play equally dull negative anti possession football and all who are themselves either dull (Nuno) toxic (jose) or negative and self-righteous/arrogant (conte).

Give the players a positive manager who plays football they will enjoy playing and who builds up theirs and the club’s confidence and the whole club will look and feel completely different again.

sounds like most hated it. Like those at chelsea

'Meanwhile, the Italian's intense training regime had players on their knees. Conte often had them run 2km before matches. Players wouldn't dare moan in his earshot, but privately they were baffled.

Surely, they should be reserving energy for the heat of the battle?'

And we wondered why we had one good half at a maximum every game

I completely agree with the “Nothing will change if we keep doing what we’ve been doing for the last 20 years”.

That’s exactly what we are about to do, we are just changing the manager again, it’s the same old story. I didn’t love Conte’s football but our problems run so deep.

Kane a generational player/striker we have had the best years of his career, 20 goals a season at least pretty much guaranteed every year (one of it not the hardest thing to find in football) and we still f*** it all up. There is no way Levy is going to get it done at this point when he can’t with those kind of opportunities. Levy simply makes it up as he goes along and is way out of his depth.

I take no pleasure in saying it, it’s devastating in many ways. I don’t honestly think there is a solution as Levy won’t sack himself, which for all the sackings and people being removed from duties, the man that has overseen ALL the footballing failure is the one who should have been sacked a LONG time ago. But as I say he won’t dismiss himself.

Absolutely nailed it.

There is so so so much talk now people finally finally realising Levy is the issue, so question is will be finally finally read the room change his ways even just a bit to set us on a better trajectory or will it be the same old mistakes getting made again, and IF SO then why the heck do we not as a fan base speak out and do something about this, 23 years, we’ve been patient enough guys & gals!!!

I do wonder if somehow this gives the players a siege mentality of proving Conte wrong. I know that's probably highly optimistic though..

By the way, what was Jordan's response to this.

He normally finds it very easy to pick apart the "spend some money" tripe or "Levy doesn't win trophies".

Normally says we are just 'moaning'

But this caller had it nailed on and there's nothing to argue with there.

Forcing players to run 2KM before the warm up for months, while watching us look shattered in every single first half. How the fuck can the thought not occur that you might be the problem here Antonio?

And to continue to do that in the most congested season in the history of football, while never rotating, JFC.

So what do we do then? Give up? Go support our local team?

Ive come to hate Levy and Enic but the fanbase never come together and nobody is banging the door down to buy us.

So why do we have to keep repeating the same thing over and over again with these posts? We all know the score, it keeps getting repeated.

How about something constructive?

You do realise Arteta played 3 at the back counter attack football when he first arrived at Arsenal. He won the Fa cup playing with a back 3 of Tierney, luiz and Holding. It helps when the board backs the manager with new defenders like saliba, Gabriel, Ben White, tomiyasu Zinchenko and a new keeper enabling the Manager to switch formation and play on the front foot because he's now got defenders he trusts to defend with a high back line.
He only played 10 games out of 28 in that first season with a back 3 and 14 out of 58 the following season.

Actually 2km isn't a lot wont take more than 10 mins.

However, I bet if they played front foot football they wouldn't have complained about it.

Poch's training was absolutely brutal yet no complaints

Its around 4 laps of the pitch, these are elite athletes, not Barry the bus driver. If 2km has any impact on them we need to get rid 😂

It's not just about the formation, it's also about having the players to play with the high back line. How many games did he play with a low block before reverting to the high back line. Yes he changed to a back 4 but was it with a high back line. If my memory serves me right I don't think so.

Running 2 kilometers as a warm-up before a match is not much. I expect most prem players in their warm-ups are running close to that.

The only thing we can do is protest and make a statement. Tottenham Hotspur was built by the fans not levy and we are the ones who will be here after he’s gone. He also wants to raise season tickets. United, and pool fan base wouldn’t accept owners like this, so why should we?
