Tottenham Hotspur have signed Manchester United youngster Ezekiel Fryers, according to a report from Sky Sports.
It is believed that Fryers, 19, has turned down the opportunity to extend his stay at Manchester United and opted to join Premier League
rivals
Tottenham Hotspur instead.

The defender, who can play at left-back or centre-back, has apparently signed a four-year deal at White Hart Lane and would become Tottenham’s second signing of the summer after the capture of Hoffenheim’s Gylfi Sigurdsson earlier this week.
The news will come to another blow to Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson who also lost Paul Pogba – another promising teenager – to Juventus recently.
However, despite coming to the end of his United contract, the Red Devils will be due compensation from Spurs for the development of the
player
.

Fryers has represented England at Under-16, 17 and 19 level and will be hoping to make an impression on Andre Villas-Boas’ first-team plans this coming season.

Steady on with the phenomenal.
He may have potential but lets not get carried away.

If he was phenomenal, then utd would have done everything to keep him

Don't get me wrong, I consider Levy a holy deity but £4m and £20k wages for a 19 year old is a lot.

where has £4m come from? Wasn't he free with a tribunal to decide fee which will end up at 1m or something low.

20k is quite high for the young lad though so they must see a lot in him

I spoke to a utd fan who said that EF is very athletic and a good passer, but his close control lets him down. He seemed to be being genuine so make of that what you will. Close control seems to be a problem with lots of british youngsters unfortunately.
