How they can watch that multiple times in the slow motion and still come to the conclusion it’s a penalty is unbelievable
They seem to have no concept or grasp of how a person’s body, specifically his arms, moves when someone is in motion; running, jumping and turning. It’s such a simplistic and childish viewpoint to basically say it hit is Hearn therefore it’s-a penalty.
Personally the whole general concept of a penalty is wrong. A free shot at goal from 12 yards shouldn’t be awarded for innocuous incidents just because they happen in the penalty area. If the incident doesn’t directly affect the attacking team’s ability to put the defense’s goal under pressure why do they deserve that free shot. This penalty call like some others in the past is given even though the ball hitting an arm/hand doesn’t deviate its path to any degree so what disadvantage have the attacking team suffered. The punishment should fit the crime but in too many cases when it comes to penalties teams are gifted a goal for a non crime.
