I'd agree with that. Poor Pav has had NO service in the 3 or 4 games he's played. As I said earlier, I like Pavlyuchenko and with a DECENT partner he will be a threat.

We need to play two properly upfront. We created quite a few half chances yesterday, but they were never that clear cut and you never got the feeling we really opened them up, apart from Bent's chance and that was agonisingly close.

Look at our offsides and number of tackles made. Says to me that the strikers are off the pace and not breaking with any speed and that we are weak in the tackle.

Not sure that it is the strikers fault. Not that many clear cut chances. Get decent crosses in (Lennon/Bentley both been poor), get a decent midfielder to back up the strikers (Jenas has been poor), get a decent midfield playmaker (Modric has been poor), get a midfield that can put it about and put a decent tackle in (Zoko being the only defensive minded midfielder we have), and you can see a problem forming....
