Has this been done before??

For me it was 1966. I was 9 and my Dad took me to a reserve game to see if I liked it. Mum thought I should be introduced gradually.

Went back the next week to see the first team versus Blackpool I think and we lost.

That was a good team in 1966/67 - should have done the double again.

Been a few times since.

My first was against Middlesboro. A very tainted experience in many ways. Was about 12. Boro was leading 2-1 until the dying minutes when Paul Moran and ummm I think it was David Howells both came on as subs... Both scored in the dying minutes and ended 3-2...

However when I got outside (was with my Dad) even though I was a kid and wearing colours I was attacked by at least a dozen boro lads all big men, I was forced to the ground and was getting the shit kicked out of me. I looked up amongst the boots to see that my dad could see me getting done, and he ran off leaving me there. I ended up managing to kick out mega violently against all these legs and caught a few square on the knee's... Then span out and got the fuck out of dodge.

My dad didn't even ask if I was alright and never mentioned that he saw me getting proper done over. That memory will never leave me.

At least we won though!

My first game was Bolton in the 11/12 season, we won 3-0, with Bale scoring the first from a corner, and taking off his boot in a tribute to Gary Speed. Later in the first half Gary Cahill got sent off for scything Scott Parker near the half-way line. Azza and JD added to the scoreline in the second half, one of them again from a corner (can you believe it?!).

Living in another country and studying, doesn't really leave much room in the budget for trips to London, so i finally got my debut at the age of 24, having supported Spurs since first watching us on danish television, in '97. The trip and match ticket was a gift from my girlfriend, as she knows that Spurs is my first love, she might as well embrace it, than try to compete ;)

My first was when we beat Man United 4-1 in 1996..

That set me up nicely for a decade of mediocrity..

Mine was in 1983 vs forest I was 10 my Dad took me, it was the first live televised match on ITV, so we had Chas and Dave playing before the match. We came from behind to win 2-1 with goals from Gary Stevens and Steve Archibald and after that I was pretty much hooked and still am 30 years later!!

Hopefully my 5 year old son will feel the same when I take him to the Espanyol game in August

Dec 3, 1994... Tottenham 4 - 2 Newcastle. I'd been a Spurs fan since I was 7 but this was the first time I'd finally been able to get down to London and actually see them. My Dad took me down on the train and it was a brilliant weekend. To top it off my favourite player at the time Teddy got a hat-trick :)

Think my first home game was new year day 2005 against Everton when we won 5-2.

My first away game was 1996 against Coventry so it was a much delayed visit!

That's the one.

I remember thinking he would be the next big thing, but he didn't even get to start the next game IIRC. Last I heard of him, he was playing in the championship, so he must have some ability at least.

It's strange how it seems to be so very little that separates good players from mediocre ones.

March 1968 3-0 win against Stoke.
Big Chiv scored a peach from the corner of the area and Gilly was all flicks and touches!

Buggered if I can (or want to) remember the year. Chivers scored against United. I think we drew 1-1

Remember the peanut vendors? The old fashioned HT scores thingy? A,B,C,D,E etc etc and you matched the score with the list in your program? Proper tackling? Being interfered with by the dirty old man behind you? No? Just me then.........

August 1994, Spurs 2 Everton 1

Klinsmann scored both including that overhead kick and dive celebration. I was then a regular in the sick bay at school after trying to recreate the overhead kick and dive celebration on our concrete playground, fuck knows what injuries kids suffered trying to do Robbie Keane's flip at school.

March 1978. Beat Stoke 3-1. I was a month away from my 4th birthday and can remember nothing about the match.

This was my first match as well!! Seem to remember Gary Stevens heading the ball into the net and in the follow through heading the post afterwards.
