Wasn't there ITK that Paratici was still fighting Nuno's corner? If that's true, surely they should both go???
I think that as Paratici hired him he could well be trying to defend him.

But he'd be better off saying it's not working out and focusing on getting it right next time.

If Paratici is trying to keep Nuno then it is only to protect himself.

I've always been pretty patient with Spurs' managers. One of the few positives I can unequivocally say about Levy is that apart from Hoddle he has recognised when a manager needs to go and acted before my patience has run out. Not this time though :(. Our performances are getting worse with every game and it is obvious that Nuno is a poor fit for Spurs. For fuck's sake Levy pull the bloody trigger .

We’ve had ITK to say that Nuno has pissed Paratici off, so I doubt FP is pushing for him to stay.

By all accounts Nuno has gone and all that’s left is an announcement.

Surprised I'll be starting work today without any announcement, though I expect he'll be officially gone by 5pm this evening, surely?

If anything the delay in announcing, suggests we want the replacement announced straight after.

Attention on the new man rather than the mistake hiring Nuno.

Put all of this together and there is a feeling among the players that Nuno has not made much of an impression during his four months in the job. There is not a revolt against him and he is not as unpopular as Mourinho was at the end of his tenure.

There is some respect for his integrity and the way that he goes about his work but at the same time, the players have not especially enjoyed his training sessions or his approach to the game, and there is a sense among the players that Nuno is not the sort of charismatic dominant figure, overseeing all aspects of the football club, that, in their individual ways, both Pochettino and Mourinho managed to be.

Our players have some neck, complaining Nuno is not enough like Poch or Jose.

Who they also didn't play for. Nuno probably felt it best to differentiate himself from Jose because they all thought he was a thunderbastard supposedly.

My Porridge is too hot, my porridge is too cold, and on and on it fucking goes….shove it up your arse.

I've decided Conte's coming and I'm not listening to anything else. See you at the press conference on Wednesday lads. My celebratory hair piece is on order for the occasion.
That would be good to see. Army of Spurs fans in Conte style hair pieces.
Like the geordies with the Arab get ups.

Players are back in training today. Surely they can't let it drag on, everyone knows he's getting sacked he doesn't deserve to have to go through the farce of taking training. He genuinely doesn't deserve that imo.

Lord Sugar just unzipped and pissed on all of our chips this morning:

Sorry Alan but you don't need to sit on the board to know what's going on, you just need to know someone that does. Something like this doesn't take long to filter down. What I will say though is most of these journalists are just guessing most of their "information", just trying to put a unique spin on the very few facts everyone actually knows.

I know a lot of people on here don’t like Ricky Sacks - but he was brilliant on Sky this morning.

Would be a good idea if Sugar hadn’t been the worst chairman in our history and the reason we went from being a top club regularly winning trophies to a club finishing 11th every year in the 90s/00s.
Hence the exact reason why I'd only want him back for 10 minutes .....

Whilst I totally agree that he has to go I do feel some sympathy for Nuno. He seems a decent man but was never the correct fit for us and frankly didn't stand a chance. We all knew what his style of play was, how did he ever get the job.

This to be honest, comes across as a nice fella, just make a decision and move on
