He’s a good manager, what he did at wolves was brilliant. Unfortunately he was the wrong manager at the wrong time for us.
His last year at wolves was the most putrid football I’ve ever seen. They were unwatchable. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when I heard he got the Spurs job. Completely devoid of ideasHe was fantastic at Wolves. No Premier League side enjoyed playing them.
I tried to convince myself it may work when we appointed him but I was definitely more worried when it was reported that he was going to try and play a 4-3-3 and play more expansive football. Only reason he appealed to me in any way was with the thought that he may play that same 3 at the back formation seen at Wolves but to adopt it with better players at his disposal.
I agree. He went against his preferred formation to try to ingratiate himself but it didn't work and the amount of games we had zero shots on target in was outrageous. The Wolves I used to watch was dynamic- they had their wing backs up and down the flanks with dangerous forwards getting on the end of crosses. We got none of that from him.He was fantastic at Wolves. No Premier League side enjoyed playing them.

Was always completely wrong appointment for us, but did good job at Wolves. Doesn't neccesarily mean he is fit for Nottingham or todays PL.He’s a good manager, what he did at wolves was brilliant. Unfortunately he was the wrong manager at the wrong time for us.

Vital context being that his best attacking player broke his skull in front of the whole team, and the club clearly never recovered from that. His last year at wolves was the most putrid football I’ve ever seen. Totally agree Forest should of raided one of the championship for a top managerWas always completely wrong appointment for us, but did good job at Wolves. Doesn't neccesarily mean he is fit for Nottingham or todays PL.
He was using 4atb in every previous club except WolvesI agree. You could say he was quite fortunate at Wolves... He ended up with the likes of Neves and Mourinho who were international class.
If you say it one more time in front of a mirror, Nuno will appear and - with a sinister smile - ruin your entire life. He's going to make them proud. He's going to make them proud.
There are so many poor managers who seem to stay in the game for way longer than their success rate should allow.I think it is wonderful how these Managers go from job to job, earning millions on the way, despite being sacked from so many.
