Just been released. Palacios (93) and Modric (61) are in it.

Has anyone else read it? Some surprises such as Ronaldo (fat one) just getting in at 100, Franck Ribery only being number 19, behind the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Arshavin.

Surely if Ronaldo (fat one again) is in it, does Lennon not deserve a place? Or is that just me being bias?

Interesting Chelsea have the same amount of players in the top 100 as Real Madrid (who both top the list at 11 players a piece).

And according to the list the "Best Team in the World" is:

GK: Casillas
LB: Ashley Cole
RB: Maicon
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LM: Messi
RM: Cristiano Ronaldo
CM: Iniesta
CM: Xavi
CF: Torres
CF: Villa

And the top 10 is as follows:

10: Rooney
9: Eto'o
8: Kaka
7: Gerrard
6: Torres
5: Villa
Tied at 3: Xavi and Iniesta
2: Cristiano Ronaldo
1: Messi

4 of the best 10 players in the world, can't make the best 11 as none of the top 10 are even slightly defensive.

Not much to complain about there. Although i would have Torres above Villa. I think he's just that little bit more complete than Villa. And i like how they have Iniesta and Xavi joint 3rd. There really isn't anything to seperate them. Ronaldo has looked great since his returned to Brazil. When fit, he's still one of the best finishers in world football. I would've though Barca would have the most players in the list though. Good to see Spurs have a couple aswell. Although if they're going to look past Ronaldos injuries, King has to be on there aswell.

Cheers Million!
Bit surprising for me that only 1 player is from outside Europe and he's at no. 100
Seems to be a reasonable list - normally everyone disagrees with half the players on these sort of lists.

Depressing out of the 33 best players in the premiership, only 6 are English.

I'm staggered France have 10 players. With them, Argentina, Portugal etc struggling to qualify for the WC, a lot of players may miss out.

Ferdinand at no. 12? Hmmmmm........

Esily the best defender on earth. Yeah Bellamy torn him a new one the other day but Torres did the same against Vidic but both are in the top 5 world cb's imo and many others opinions.

Vidic yes, Ferdinand no. I would even put John Terry ahead of Ferdinand, I think he's completely over-rated.

No you can't but If I had a choice of signing either Ferdinand, Gerrard or Fabregas for spurs I know which one I'd sign. Only stupid gooners think Gerrard is a better player.

All ages the same I think I would have Gerrard. Fabregas and Ferdinand not much in it and it would matter who we had in our team.

The Ferdinand of late has been a bit injury prone, may have lost a bit of pace.

Haxman, Terry isn't as good as Rio imo, not even close.

Fair enough, but Vidic is better than the pair of them imo. And a fully fit Ledley King would give them all a run for their money.
