Harry is incredibly diplomatic when it comes to refs but he has really socked it to him here. Won't do us any good but it makes me feel a bit better.

On the notion of Foy being possibly paid to make us lose, I'd say it's not completely impossible. Referees don't earn alot of money in comparison to everyone else involved in high end professional football. If a discreet load of money sent from a rich owner of a worried rival football club to push Stoke in the right direction, then it's not impossible for corruption to occur. If the highest people in the game (FIFA) are corrupt, then surely some bellend from wherever the fuck up north this prick Chris Foy is from, isn't out of the question. We don't know.

We like to think England is the last place we'd see things like that, but like I said, no one knows.

His performance takes some explaining. It wasn't a bad day at the office it was a complete shit storm.

And it wasn't just those key decisions. We saw fouls not given, corners not given and fouls against us that weren't. Obviously you get that in a game, but when they all come together like that, it can stir suspicions, especially when the team you're trying to catch can throw money around like it's spare change at a toll booth.

The most annoying thing is nothing will happen to him. He'll be back next week fucking up another club.

We won't be denied for top 4, we showed so much character and had it not been for that **** we would be talking about a magnificent comeback..COYS!

Just watched the game on delay in Sydney.

Simmering right now with anger - I want to see the FA/Ref Association take action and/or demote him for a week because of his bad decisions.

Shocking.

My only theory that after the Modric penalty (which was a dive lads, I've watched it about 10 times), he decided he had to give 'some' questionable decisions to Stoke. Not condoning the ridiculous amount he did though, though it would explain some of it.

He wasn't paid, some of you are being ridiculous - at the very worst he's incompetent, but you've got to remember he had four match officials who offered no help either. More than likely a bad day at the office, it happens.

The only problem with that theory is he was giving all the decisions to Stoke before the penalty. And after. The pen was the only thing we got all game. I agree that Modric did dive, but it was a foul as well. Wouldn't have surprised me to see Foy book him for it and give us nothing.

I reckon a fairly key issue here is the crowd . Up there they have a stadium full of wankers who literally scream for every throw in decision etc . You look at this behaviour and think jesus they must have sad little lives to get so worked up over every tiny detail of the refs decisions .

But ....IT WORKS . Refs cave in to the relentless pressure . At the back of their minds is..'Oh no I don't want to take the stick for giving a big decision against the crowd' . Same at Old Trafford .

We don't do this at WHL . Fanatical , relentless crowd pressure on refs WORKS .

Assistants were just as much to blame, it was utter madness. Shawcross got away with murder and Stoke set their stall out to bully us from the first whistle which we fell hook line and sinker for.

Credit to the manager with no tactical nous for changing it up for the 2nd half and we still probably should have won. That's a hard place to go and we deserved more, hopefully that's a blip out of the way, it's how we react from now to take our position into the new year.

What a homer twatface ****.

Modric - it was a penalty ok a soft one but still a pen

The refree seemed to enjoy sending Kaboul off very harsh i mist say but 3 hand balls and a perfectly good goal disallowed was disgraceful. What are the linesmen there for?

Is there amywhere to send an offical complaint

I wish that refs come out and said things after games.

I wonder how he is feeling after watching it back
