He had a shocker but he could have not given us the pen
His performance takes some explaining. It wasn't a bad day at the office it was a complete shit storm. On the notion of Foy being possibly paid to make us lose, I'd say it's not completely impossible. Referees don't earn alot of money in comparison to everyone else involved in high end professional football. If a discreet load of money sent from a rich owner of a worried rival football club to push Stoke in the right direction, then it's not impossible for corruption to occur. If the highest people in the game (FIFA) are corrupt, then surely some bellend from wherever the fuck up north this prick Chris Foy is from, isn't out of the question. We don't know.
We like to think England is the last place we'd see things like that, but like I said, no one knows.

My only theory that after the Modric penalty (which was a dive lads, I've watched it about 10 times), he decided he had to give 'some' questionable decisions to Stoke. Not condoning the ridiculous amount he did though, though it would explain some of it.
He wasn't paid, some of you are being ridiculous - at the very worst he's incompetent, but you've got to remember he had four match officials who offered no help either. More than likely a bad day at the office, it happens.
