Freund and Anderton in the HOF

Was on the stadium tour yesterday and our guide mentioned that Anderton and Freund were the next individuals to be inucted into the hall of fame and wasn't sure of the official announcement had been made yet. Also, when asked why Greaves hadn't been inducted he said 'He's asked every year but declines due to a certain shareholder being involved with the club and is waiting him to get fired!' I thought Sugar had sold his shares with us now, could be wrong.

It's common knowledge that Anderton and Freund are being inducted. Think it's been on the OS already.

It's a complete disgrace that Freund is going to be anywhere near that list and Anderton doesn't deserve it at all.

I loved Anderton and he gave us many years service. If Ginola is in it, Anderton deserves to be, but imo neither should.

This really pissed me off when I heard about it last week but it's not like we can do anything about it.

We could make an unofficial HOF as selected by the fans of the club (with a voting system ala baseball hall of fame, with entrants needing a certain percentage to gain entrance) and then we would be able to induct the likes of Greavsie who would have no objection to be awarded a place from the fans of the club rather than the board of directors.
