With the imminent transfer of William Gallas i was wondering what u guys think of the signing?

Will his CL/PL experience make up for the Arsenal-link and his behaviour at previous clubs?

Could do a lot worse for a lot more. I don't really care about who he's played for.

how olds giggs, scholes etc? age doesnt matter if you still have what it takes.

proven premier league ability and champs league exp. at 33 he probably has a year left in him at the top top flight. We are getting him on a years contract - for free.

Cracking bit of business imho.

Sorry I forgot when Giggs and Scholes had a bad season.

Those two are two of the greatest to ever grace the game. Massive exceptions.

Yes.

He's free, still quite good, has tons of experience, covers a vital position and can persuade Diarra to join too.

Yes it's great to have an experienced defender to play along side Dawson/Bassong when King is rested. A no brainer really.

what makes them still great? its not the attributes that have slowly vanished over the years (giggs isnt exaclty a rocket anymore) its the experience they bring to the team. both on and off the field.

If you could guarantee he wouldn't disrupt the dressing room, I would very stubbornly say yes, but he is past it, and probably will screw up the dressing room. A mercenary, and scum. Not happy.
