I mean, sure I can change. There's no logic behind it, random picks.
It's your show, feel free to ignore me. I just thought that was the normal way, and it makes most sense to me. But there's other arguments to make.

I think in the past we have mapped it as top of the championship mapped to 18th in premier, 2nd in championship to 19th in premier and play off winner mapped to bottom of the premier. Ultimately it is all subjective and over the course of the season it doesn't really matter.

Really like this so good work and thanks for doing it.

Two suggestions so apologies if these have been suggested and I've somehow missed it!

Rather than showing a yellow filled 'D' in the 'Result' column before the match, could this be a white filled 'X' or '?'

In addition to adding the updated chart in the chat, could you also update the opening post with the latest chart?

Once again, great work, just my tuppence! (y)

I second this. For a minute there I got very confused and thought we'd drawn a game in the future.

Also can you continously update the OP with the latest? think it looks better for new people to the thread for a snapshot.

This is amazing, thank you!

Just a question...do the xG and XGA align with the fixture or is it always listed Spurs first? For instance, the Forest match appears to be backwards.

xG and xGA are always the stats for spurs no matter home or away

Probably overkeen because i like numbers but for me this thread provides some useful perspective.

After last night's game, particularly the 2nd half, it's very easy to think we're not doing well. Whilst we're certainly not flying at the moment we're still better in every game this season vs. last year and a win last night would have been our best start since the 60s (according to the commentator).

Being stronger in terms of results than last year gives us every chance of top 4 and possibly beyond. Just need some of the play and players (Sonny) to pick up a bit of form and rhythm and we'll be cooking IMO.

Our Sept in PL:
Fulham (H) Compared to Burnley are we going for? If so we won 1-0
City (A) W 2-3
Leicester (H) W 3-1

Well, that's going to be difficult to replicate!

What do y'all think/hope we come away with. I think a minimum of 4 is necessary and probably understandable/acceptable, 5 is probably a good result on the whole, and 6 or above is something to celebrate in my opinion.

The tricky part compared to last season is getting 8pts from meetings with City and Liverpool.

Thanks for this thread!

I also went to compare last season’s results, but specifically against teams that were relegated, and noticed that we lost 2 games out of 6 against the bottom 3.

Assuming we right this wrong, we will be another 6 points better off and should offset any reduction against pool n city.

Meanwhile, I believe both of them have dropped significant points compared to last season for sure
