This is leaving a sour taste and I'm changing my onion on GB.

I don't wish him luck - the chimp can fuck off.

Hopefully he never has a season like last.

I hope the Bale deal includes a clause stopping Real from selling Arsenal any players this window!! Better do!!

lol :ROFLMAO:

what if Madrid simply can't afford it and the deal doesnt happen. Will Bale just sit at home and eat cornflakes until the winter window opens?

Are we due a presser for the Europa league game today anyway? Hopefully the bearded one can clear a few things up.

Imagine going into your bosses office and saying...look mate, I want a raise and a pretty fucking tasty one to....Boss says, eh? on your bike mate!.....fine, I ain't working until you pay it! lol

Its mad, in the footballing world the employees (players) have more power than employer (Club)

Goes to show you how down the shoot football has gone - certainly in this respect anyway.

- Bale has acted like a twat throughout these yet most of you have only just started seeing it. He was never injured, that's clear.
- If we don't get a record fee that will be very fucking annoying, we all expect it and also it will damage Ronald's precious ego.
- RM will definitely be working on deals in principle behind the scenes with people like Arsenal to balance the books. Can't stomach selling our best player to strengthen our rivals.

This whole deal has gone tits up and whereas we were meant to have Willian and Lamela to replace him, we have AT THE MOMENT neither (albeit we still have one seemingly bratty Welshman)

Your boss can't just sell your contract to another employer either. Contracts are just insurance policies for clubs really and in return, players get the power of the media.

I agree Pinkster. Which is why I am no longer in love with football anymore, and don't allow myself to get attached to players. The game has gone shit.

I mean I love the club, it's in my blood, I'm 38 and a 3rd generation fan, my boys will be too. So it's hard to lose that, but I hate the state of the game, and it's only going to get worse.

If we lose him to a £75m fee, with no players coming back!! Fuck me, I will be furious.

He was the only player not to acknowledge the fans at the swindon game when singing his name and happy birthday.

I'm gutted he is going but at least if i can have a degree of disgust towards him it won't hurt like when ginola was forced out.

Bale, you were so close to being the player that I would talk about to my grandkids in 50 years with a glitter in my eye and the same glowing sentiment that I was told about Smith, Mackay, Blanchflower, Greaves by my Grandad and Perryman, Gasgcgoine, Mabbut by my father... But *if* this reported approach to getting a transfer is all true then despite your undoubted talent, you wont be regarded as a legend by me. Ahhh Gareth what could have been....
I know it's tough but never mind eh. He's doing what he needs to in his mind. If he was shithouse we'd be looking to unceremoniously dump him off to Stoke or someone else ourselves. No loyalty. Swings and roundabouts.

It's best to never get too attached to players because in this respect, not a single one of them is special. I'm not sure they could afford to be either.

The only shock here is that some, after everything we've seen in football and at this club specifically over the last 6 or 7 yrs, are in any way shocked a footballer might play up in order to get a transfer away.

I've decided that I really don't give a shit about this anymore.

If he acting like a ****, he can stay a **** like all the other Real Madrid ****s and we don't want any ****s at our club.

I am far more excited (and albeit concerned) about incomings.
