Apparently in wales the rumour is now he’s the pawn in the De Gea deal....but bale himself is not happy at this.

So wouldn’t be surprised to see him try and fuck Madrid over he’s one very unhappy man at the moment.

FWIW, they cannot bypass us who have first option in any deal with anyone. It is a fact that he wants to come back to us. I cannot see it happening myself, for varying reasons. However, we would have to decline the option. There is a percentage decrease option agreed if we wanted him back, and visa versa.

Just can not see how we can finance it if I’m honest is he gamble worth taking?

No chance.. it seems 'lessons have been learned' doesn't apply to fans.. otherwise we'd admit this is a non starter..

Resigning Bale is a kind of statement. And he is the best players in the world that we might possibly (comparatively realistic) get.

Those that don't want to take the risk are forgetting how bloody good he is.
He gets you off your seat & makes football fun again. Yes i'm sure he'll miss games through injury, he did in his first spell here, but is also the type who can drag you over the line in other games which makes a difference between winning trophies or not. Something we currently lack (Kane aside who can't do it all). He's a winner & a big game player who gives 100%.
If it's true that he wants to come back (when if I was him, spurs tinted glasses aside, you would expect him to prefer man u) then I hope we move heaven & earth to get it done.
Injuries can happen to any player even if they have no history of this, look at Lamela, but Bale is that good we have to bring him back if we can.
My bigger concern would be his off the field stuff (family related) and wonder if this is what the ITK is alluding to (although I am probably very wide of the mark here).

One more thing to add. I think Bale is the type of player that we need most. Imagine that Bale joined Liverpool or Man City. He wouldn't make lots of difference because they are already full of speedy wingers and amazing players who can break the bus with amazing touch and long shot. Among all Top6 teams, we would beneficial most if Bale joins us.

It'd be nice to think he wants to come to us, one thing I am certain of is that he is, in his own quiet way steadfast in his dealings, if he doesn't want to go to a club, Man Utd for example, then nobody is going to force him to.
I must admit that it is nice to read "it is a fact that he wants to come to us" though.
